Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college/university required. Two years of supervisory experience required. Healthcare experience required. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and standards. Proficient in Microsoft office software suite. Experience with MIP or other similar accounting software. Responsibilities include: Communicate with clients regarding balances, partner with them to ensure accurate information and payment is received. Strategize with clients on ways to complete their overdue payments. Educate clients on insurance benefit details and financial responsibility. Navigate escalated calls with empathy and healthy boundary-setting. Collaborate with team members to meet department goals and daily tasks.
