About the Role
As the Accounts Payable Processor, you will be responsible for invoice processing and exception handling across non-inventory and inventory payables. Your day-to-day contributions will drive accurate, timely payments and help improve end-to-end P2P processes. Execute end-to-end AP operations for inventory and/or non-inventory, including high-volume invoice processing using 2-way and 3-way match within Oracle and integrated systems.
Complete month-end responsibilities including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses across assigned GL accounts.
Investigate discrepancies across POs, receipts, and invoices with precision-escalate unresolved exceptions and recommend resolution paths.
Manage vendor communication and inquiries with clear, accurate, and timely responses; own vendor statement reconciliations and ensure SLA adherence.
Support integration points between Stitch Fix proprietary systems, ERP, EDI, and OCR/IDR tools, recognizing downstream impacts of system errors or data mismatches.
Understand the mechanics and timing of system holds (price/quantity) and their effect on GRNI accounts.
Collaborate with IT, Product, and Engineering to troubleshoot and enhance system functionality. Participate in UATs and document test results.
Identify areas for improvement, propose enhancements, and create clear documentation for updated workflows or SOPs.
Monitor aged payables and support AP leadership in maintaining a clean ledger.
Adapt to dynamic operational challenges, including warehouse re-routes, receiving anomalies, and manual workarounds when necessary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Promptly identify any errors or other issues in claims processing.

Review the explanation of benefit (EOB) documentation and notate accounts on collection activity to perform account resolution.
Operate within established guidelines and protocols, including providing backup documentation for our accounting and audit functions.

Within a hospital setting (UB04 format)
Proficient to Expert level insurance follow up, denials management, credit balance resolution
Proficient to expert level knowledge of Cerner Community Works and/or MEDHOST
Expert level experience within DDE/ FISS
Expert level experience working RTP Claims
Proficient knowledge in Medicare Method II Billing, Coding & Follow Up
Demonstrate experience with reviewing outstanding balances to resolution (Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial payors)
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Ability to direct work with minimal supervision and ability to meet performance and quality goals
High school diploma or GED required
Execute and fulfill JTS' Remote Staff Agreement to ensure Security and Privacy

What You'll Do
In this role, you will be responsible for helping the accounting team with month-end close including but not limited to special business line reporting and variable compensation calculations. You will also be responsible for supporting the accounting department with owning multiple reports ensuring data integrity and accuracy. This role requires advanced analytical skills.
You will be responsible for:
Preparing and analyzing complex business line reporting with data accuracy monthly
Owning, tracking API and Mid-market billing and agreements
Supporting various parts of month-end close processes
Supporting the implementation of new ERP system and rigorous system testing when needed
Review sales tax monthly for JE (Journal Entry) and filling
Helping support the year-end financial audit process with external auditors by helping prepare schedules and pulling supporting documents.
Creating ad-hoc reports for various business needs
Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by management
What You'll Bring
3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Prior SaaS experience preferred
Strong technical skills: Proficiency in accounting ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, etc.) and other financial reporting tools as well as above average Microsoft Excel skills are crucial to success
Experience with Anrok or Avalara software is a plus
Strong technical accounting skills and research capabilities
Knowledge of full month-end close process
Excellent ability to organize and coordinate tasks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working in multiple online environments
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Team player with the ability to work with all levels of employees, both internal and external, to ensure performance and excellent standards are maintained
