Accounts Payable Lead is responsible for assisting the Corporate Controller and Accounting Coordinator of the company to maintain the accounts payable process of the business. A person in this position does everything from administrative work to accounts payable duties that relates to the financial aspects of multiple businesses.

Performing all Accounts Payable functions to support multiple entities within the organization.
Posting invoices in a high-volume environment - utilizing hard copy documents and/or scanned documents
Completing reconciliations monthly utilizing vendor statements
Preparing 1099s at year end
Interacting with approving managers in various locations in person, phone and via email
Producing related AP reconciliations necessary for month end closing process
Able to work with large amounts of detailed data
Meets deadlines, prioritizes assignments, and multi-tasks in a fast-paced environment
Provide backup to front desk and answering telephones
Communicate professionally, verbally and written, with all business contacts, including trade partners
Follow company's established accounting processes
Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor s Degree in Accounting not required but preferred
At least 3 years' experience in accounting/accounts payable in the landscape or construction industry preferred
Have a high degree of urgency
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Adobe and QuickBooks
Ability to complete daily tasks with limited supervision and minimal errors requiring re-work
A current valid driver's license is required

Job Details:
This position is responsible for the daily management of activities of the FSQA department, including food safety programs, micro and chemistry lab, specification adherence, and product quality for poultry products within their assigned facility. The position reports to the FSQA Manager, who oversees the entire department.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Oversight: Manage production practices, including raw material receiving requirements, preoperational and operational sanitation, finished product quality, and Food Safety Systems.
Policy Adherence: Ensure all Tyson FSQA policies and procedures are followed.
Regulation Compliance: Monitor, verify, and document adherence to government regulations.
Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain HACCP and SSOP based inspection programs.
Quality Assurance: Ensure finished products conform to customer product and label specifications.
Reporting: Report product issues and audit results to plant and corporate FSQA, plant management, corporate sales, R&D, and operations.

Requirements
Education: Requires broad knowledge in poultry processing, scientific and technical fields. This knowledge is normally acquired through a bachelor's degree in an academic field directly related and essential to the job and is preferred.
Experience: 2+ years in a food manufacturing preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred. HACCP certified preferred; must have broad knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, & SSOP's.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note, and Skype), Plant View, SAP, and other Tyson mandatory operating programs to generate spreadsheets and develop templates for use by plant management and corporate FSQA, sales, R&D, and operations.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal, demonstrating the proven ability to correspond with all levels - line team members to corporate management. **Bilingual a plus.
Supervisory: Manage crewing, labor, and attendance of the 2nd shift FSQA department.
