GENERAL SUMMARY: Under limited direction, plans, organizes and maintains a process to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards and continuous survey readiness. Serves as an internal consultant for the interpretation of standards and functional measurement of compliance. Develops performance improvement plans with management/staff on an as needed basis. Interprets new regulations/standards for education purposes and implementation efforts.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree Business administration preferred. Associate degree in healthcare related field required. Minimum of three (3) years of specialty pharmacy experience required; clinical/operational experience preferred. Strong understanding and previous knowledge of accreditation bodies (i.e. URAC, ACHC, etc.) and familiarity with other, licensing and regulatory standards desired. Evidence of continuing education in standards/regulations/training. Member, lead or facilitator of a quality improvement or process improvement team for a minimum of 1 year required.
