George Ellis joined Accumen as CFO in mid-November 2020 after having served in that role on an interim/part-time basis for six months. Mr. Ellis is responsible for Accounting and Finance, Legal, and Strategic Partnering for Accumen and its constituent companies.

Prior to this role, George served as a Managing Director with the Health Care Practice of Huron Consulting, with similar responsibilities for its Leadership Development service line. He served in this role from 2011 via Studer Group, which was acquired by Huron Consulting in 2015. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer of Global360.

Earlier experiences include over 40 years of general operating and financial management of software, telecommunication, semiconductor companies.

George has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University and a JD from the SMU Law School. He is a licensed CPA and Attorney in the State of Texas and has certifications in Cyber Security.
