The Department: Security Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) The Role: Lead, Security GRC (Compliance) Gemini is seeking a Security GRC Lead to manage and be accountable for the organization's security compliance programs, including PCI, ISO 27001, NYDFS, and SOC II reports. This leadership role requires strong project management skills, executive-level communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in regulatory compliance enforcement, security process development, policy creation, and security framework navigation. Experience with a Big 4 firm is highly desirable, but equivalent experience in leading security compliance teams in financial services, technology firms, or regulated industries will also be considered. The role demands deep expertise in security compliance frameworks, audit preparedness, and regulatory reporting, ensuring the organization adheres to all necessary cybersecurity compliance standards. The Security GRC Lead will work closely with internal stakeholders to establish, implement, and maintain best-in-class compliance programs that meet evolving industry regulations. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and equivalent practical experience in cybersecurity compliance risk management. Minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance with a focus on regulatory frameworks. Proven expertise in managing NYDFS, PCI, ISO 27001, and SOC II compliance. Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple initiatives effectively. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of interfacing with senior executives. Preferred Qualifications: Big 4 experience with security risk and compliance audits, or equivalent experience leading security compliance teams in financial services, technology firms, or other highly regulated industries. Expertise in automating GRC processes and implementing scalable compliance solutions. Deep understanding of regulatory compliance methodologies, audit preparedness, and enforcement strategies. Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive enterprise-wide compliance management initiatives. Experience leveraging GRC tooling (e.g., AuditBoard) to support governance, risk and compliance activities. Experience in team management, and overseeing strategic compliance initiatives is a strong plus but not required. Overview The Building Security Officer position has a Commitment to Excellence in guest service, while providing necessary safety and security support to guests visiting the PPG Paints Arena. This position will staff the Employee Entrance and the Command Post. This role will pay an hourly rate of $17.50. This position will remain open until December 19, 2025. Responsibilities Deliver superior guest service while ensuring proper building and governmental protocols are being followed. Respond to requests for assistance from staff and visitors for a variety of security issues (fire, medical emergencies, etc.) Ensure all safety and building guidelines are being followed, and proper security checks are conducted during guest entry. Assist in the control and safety of all guests that visit the facility. Ensure crowd control stays at a reasonable level and assist in emergency situations and conflicts as needed. Interact with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees. Enforce rules and regulations of the facility. Provide directional assistance, as needed, by being knowledgeable about locations throughout the facility. Provide professionalism, courtesy, and respect to all guests and fellow employees. Building Security Guard may be called upon to provide shift breaks for Guards located at entrance Gates. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications HSD/GED preferred. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervises Security Guards at Employee Entrance and is responsible for dispatch calls in the Command Post for a given event Serves as a point-of-contact for employees who seek assistance relating to guest service challenges, housekeeping matters, security concerns, etc. Provides solutions to aforementioned issues by communicating with guests, management, department leads, and/or command center Assists in sustaining PPG Paints Arena security initiative by supporting proper employee behaviors, properly addressing any failures and reporting issues to management Encourages development of employees' security skills and assists with incentive program Provides clear, concise, and timely communication of detailed event requirements to event staff Provide clear, concise, and timely radio communication when handling guest incidents or complaints Is proactive in seeking out ways to improve service, employee procedures, etc. Understands emergency response plan and can help facilitate process with assigned employees Monitors functioning of elevators, escalators, etc. and contacts management/service personnel in the event of any problems involving maintenance or rider issues.
