Your Day at Lowe's
As a maintenance Mechanic II, you'll use your specialized expertise to handle complex repairs in at least two of the following areas: conveyors, rolling stock, or building. As an Inventory Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, implementing best practices, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure adequate inventory levels to minimize outages
* Follow developed receiving processes
* Train on inventory management best practices
* Monitor inventory management reports
* Implement location codes and cycle counting
* Assist with the introduction of new items to store mix
* Identify obsolete inventory and determine removal strategies
* Monitor shrinkage and recommend ways to reduce theft and breakage
* Receiving/unloading weekly trucks
Requirements:
* Willingness to learn all services provided at the store
* 8 hour shifts
* Weekend availability and open availability are a must
* Must have computer skills to receive and enter invoices
Education/Training:
* High School diploma or GED equivalent
Experience:
* Retail experience preferred
Physical Demands:
