WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Perform full setups on CNC turning centers and complete complex machining operations
Read and follow job routers, process control sheets, and engineered sketches, applying advanced GD&T and machining knowledge
Independently troubleshoot machining issues such as chatter, surface finish defects, dimensional drift, tool wear, and machine variances
Collaborate with programmers to refine tool paths, optimize G-code, improve quality, and reduce cycle times
Inspect critical features using micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, CMM reports, and advanced metrology equipment
Maintain accurate production and quality records

Your mission
Own the setup and operation of 5-axis CNC milling centers to produce metallic parts to demanding requirements. From first article through steady production, you'll safeguard quality, speed, and safety on every run.
How you'll succeed
Study drawings, routings, and specifications; establish dimensions, tolerances, and the order of operations.
Visualize and execute complex multi-axis movements, up to and including 5-axis milling.
Set up, adjust, and verify CNC programs; operate mills and associated tooling with confidence.
Recognize malfunctions and out-of-tolerance conditions early; report process variations and make corrective adjustments within established limits.
Increase throughput by operating multiple machines concurrently.
Meet tight tolerance and surface finish requirements consistently.
Inspect with bore gages, rail gages, and ID/OD micrometers; log process variation using SPC charts.
