Once blueprints are finalized and approved by management, the Programmer will set up the machines for production. The CNC Swiss Lathe Programmer is also responsible for leading the team of Machinists that will keep parts running without consultation to deliver low error, on-time results to the customer. Create and generate CNC programs for assigned product lines using CAD/CAM software, including macro programming when required. Interpret and apply detailed blueprint specifications, including geometric/dimensional tolerances, notes, revisions, references, and surface finish requirements. Utilize and maintain measuring/inspection equipment; perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) for newly machined parts. Machine parts from a variety of raw materials-aluminum, copper alloys, stainless steel, titanium, plastics-using optimal methods for each material. Support manufacturing with process development, tool design, machinery/equipment acquisition, and layout optimization. Maintain and follow documented procedures, including Change-over Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures. The Production Planner II will create the Production schedule for one or various Value Stream area(s) to best satisfy current and forecasted demand, while meeting business objectives of safety, quality, on time delivery, competitive customer lead times, profitability, and inventory. The Production Planner will also support daily management activities to ensure commitments are achieved, communicate order status to customer service, and ensure project management teams are supported. The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing diagnostics and repairs related to the mechanical aspects of machinery and equipment. They should be able to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machines with minimal instructions, and carry out complex mechanical assignments regularly. In addition to this, the mechanic is responsible for supporting production by redesigning, modifying, repairing, and installing industrial machinery. They will also inspect equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and analyze equipment failures to determine the root cause, making necessary adjustments. The CNC Machinist II produces machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. What You Will Do Identify different types of tooling such as drills, end mills, reamers and inserts and know how to properly use them. Ensure that parts are efficiently and accurately inspected, deburred, properly tagged and moved to the next operation. Use measuring and inspection equipment, and inspect parts accurately to the ten-thousandths, (0.0001), of an inch. Maintain visual perception of a finished product and the ability to recognize an out of tolerance surface finish, burrs or any other machining defects. Manufacture a finished part and be held accountable for the accuracy of the end product. Work from blueprints, drawings and sketches involving the use of standard machine shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments. Must be able to identify material types and alloys using bar stock color codes. Hold dimensions to nominal value plus or minus the variation for each specific characteristic and adjust the machine accordingly. Must be able to operate 2 or more machines at the same time. Assist with machine break-down and setup Perform routine maintenance on machines after, during and after a production run and diagnose machine troubles Responsible for organizing and cleaning workstations daily, including the machine, bar feeder, bench, computer, mats and floor. No oil, coolant or chips should be evident in any areas, especially around the floor of the machine and in tight corners of the machine. Able to read and follow the steps of a designated program completely. Understand the concepts of surface feed, feed rates, geometry, G codes, offsets and other CNC programming functions. Who You Are Must Haves: Experience working with Mazak Lathes/Machining Centers or Star Swiss Style Lathes (Preferred but not necessary) At least one (1) - three (3) years in CNC machining operating. Once blueprints are finalized and approved by management, the Programmer will set up the machines for production. The CNC Swiss Lathe Programmer is also responsible for leading the team of Machinists that will keep parts running without consultation to deliver low error, on-time results to the customer. Join our team of skilled Programmers-ideal candidates will have experience in industries like military, medical device manufacturing, or aerospace. Create and generate CNC programs for assigned product lines using CAD/CAM software, including macro programming when required. Interpret and apply detailed blueprint specifications, including geometric/dimensional tolerances, notes, revisions, references, and surface finish requirements. Utilize and maintain measuring/inspection equipment; perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) for newly machined parts. Machine parts from a variety of raw materials-aluminum, copper alloys, stainless steel, titanium, plastics-using optimal methods for each material. Support manufacturing with process development, tool design, machinery/equipment acquisition, and layout optimization. Maintain and follow documented procedures, including Change-over Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures. Initiate improvements in CNC programming techniques to improve processing and/or part quality. Lead by example, working independently and solving problems quickly. What You'll Do As a Quality Control Roving Inspector, you'll be the frontline advocate for our customers-ensuring every part meets our rigorous quality standards. Your day-to-day will include: * Conducting in-process and final inspections across multiple machines and cells. * Collaborating with machinists, production team leads, and quality controllers to identify and resolve non-conformances. * Maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 compliance. * Coaching Final Inspectors and training production staff on inspection tools and quality processes. * Leading by example in inspection practices and quality improvement. Your Impact * Ensure product accuracy and compliance using the Monitor Report and Sponge Data System. * Maintain inspection equipment and accurate calibration records. * Act as a quality "help desk" for operators and a mentor for new team members. * Support continuous improvement by generating NCRs and developing corrective actions.
