Education and Experience * Minimum of 6 Months technical support experience - preferably phone/email experience. * Minimum of 6 months in customer service or support role - preferably phone/email experience. * High school diploma or equivalent; or a minimum of 6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of experience and education. * Technical certifications and/or associate's degree a plus. Schedule Requirements * Preference will be given to candidates within commuting distance of our Temple, TX site. Highly qualified remote candidates are welcome to apply. * Expected to perform work functions at the office 3 days per week + 2 days per week working remotely. * Work is performed full-time, Monday through Friday during standard working hours; day shift 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM Central Time, must be able to work a shift schedule that falls during these workdays and hours. * Office and remote workdays are subject to change at any time. * Ability to maintain a 96% (rolling 13-week) attendance average. * Some evening meeting may be required to accommodate various resource time zones. * Quarterly, plus as needed, on-site meetings will also be held. Entry level position. Experience using commercial sewing machines, sergers and/or various hand tools used in upholstery and carpet trades is preferred. Purpose: Under moderate supervision fabricate and install upholstery, cover panels, and make simple patterns for aircraft interiors using design/engineering drawings and aircraft specifications. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Perform technical upholstery functions within design, customer, FAA, and aircraft specifications. Specific installation and trim tasks are to be completed in compliance with work order instructions and specifications. Fit panels and windows, cabin head liners, upper sidewalls, lower side panels, hatch panels, windows, cut and surge carpets, cover bulkheads, fabricate various metal parts, and covering and installation of panels. Create carpet patterns per design drawings and complete installation. Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and to sign-off work. Performs other duties as required. Other Requirements: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand proficiently the English language. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation. Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic math computations. Must be computer literate. Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds and work any shift. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
