JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Manager, Quality Assurance (“CQM”) is primarily responsible for regularly evaluating the treatment progression of client programs through in-person observation, review of data, and direct communication with assigned staff. Verbal and written feedback is delivered to the staff in an effort to ensure the client is progressing in alignment with their treatment plan. This position reports to the local Clinical Director(s).
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Working under the supervision of the Clinical Director(s), essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain a small to moderate caseload
Assist Clinical Director(s) with intervention on clinical cases to influence positive outcomes
Collaborate with the Program Manager on client cohort progress and communication to payor
Evaluate clinical quality of assigned cases by providing consultation and supervision and communicating with Behavioral Interventionists (BI's) and parents/caregivers to get additional feedback and input regarding treatment prognosis

Position Summary:
The ACES Clinical Manager, Treatment Initiation (TM) is primarily responsible for utilizing evidence-based ABA assessment techniques to evaluate clients for ABA services. The ACES Treatment Initiation Manager provides the initial in-person or telehealth clinical intake meeting and sets forth ABA treatment by identifying long-term objectives of the client and their family.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Working under the supervision of the Area Director, essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides timely and accurate assessments to clients in the clinic, home, community, or on telehealth
Utilizes evidence-based ABA assessment techniques
Transitions clients from initial intake to their treatment team and monitor utilization of recommended hours during the first authorization period
Assists the Vice President of Clinical Service Delivery and Assessment Coordinator with on-going trainings
Reviews treatment overview, processes, and expectations with the family. Keep the care team updated regarding status of assessment
Prepares and submits a final ABA assessment report using approved case-specific templates
Stays informed of ABA assessment and evaluation techniques and tools by attending ongoing trainings
Reviews quarterly outcome data from their region and collaborates on clinical strategy elevation
Assists Clinical Director with supporting challenging clinical cases to influence positive outcomes
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Ability to work independently with only general supervision
Minimum Master's Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis psychology, education, social work or other related field; and BCBA certification or clinical license
3+ years (5+ years preferred) of clinical supervision experience as a BCBA
Preferred
5+ years' experience working with clients with ASD or other special needs
5+ years training and/or education related to ASD
Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation
Background check, tuberculosis test, LiveScan fingerprint and any other funding source required clearance
Comfortable working in home, community, school, clinic, and military base environments
Comfortable working in group settings and leading small groups of staff and clients
Strong desire to support and develop skills and abilities of staff
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, database software, project management software
Highly organized
Professional, positive attitude
Excellent communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force and lift/move up to 25 pounds
