Duties and Responsibilities:

The Residential Camp Coordinator oversees the daily operations, supervision, and coordination of residential camp programs during the summer season. This role ensures a safe, engaging, and high-quality camp experience for campers, families, and staff while supporting counselors and maintaining compliance with agency policies.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee daily residential camp operations, including camper arrival and dismissal
Supervise, support, and model best practices for counselors and camp staff
Assist with staff training, scheduling, and daily assignments
Ensure camper health, safety, and well-being at all times
Oversee medication procedures in coordination with camp nursing staff
Communicate with parents/guardians regarding camper needs, incidents, and daily updates
Review and sign incident reports and provide crisis intervention as needed
Assist with activity planning, transitions, and setup of cabins and program areas
Ensure proper use and maintenance of camp equipment and facilities
Promote a positive, inclusive, and family-centered camp environment
Uphold all agency policies, safety standards, and reporting requirements
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of one year experience working with individuals with disabilities
Experience supervising or working in group settings
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Enthusiastic, professional, and team-oriented
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to assist with lifting and personal care needs of campers
Active participation in camp activities and outdoor programming
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Assist with setup, cleanup, and light custodial duties

Communicating and coordinating with funding sources to obtain client funding approval before provision of services
Discussing payment arrangements and subsidy options with families
Creating invoices, billing utilizing the County software system, and submitting invoices for payment
Completing attendance verification for all programs and compiling data summaries
Processing and posting payments received
Making collection calls and sending clients to collections when necessary
The right candidate must have:
High school diploma is required, 2 years of college in a related field preferred.
Billing and collection experience required.
Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Experience with Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft office (Quickbooks a plus).

Must be 18 years of age. Minimum of one year of experience working with children. Previous camp experience with children with disabilities a plus. Requires outdoor work in all weather conditions.
Compensation is $475 per week. Can be a paid student internship if your school/college allows!
Hours: Sunday evening through Friday morning
Must be 18 years of age or older
Previous camp experience, or experience with children with disabilities is a plus, but not a requirement!
All training provided at no cost --CPR, First Aid and AED certification.
Crisis prevention and intervention certification provided at no cost.
