During a 30+ year career, I’ve set strategy and led growth acceleration involving retail and digital transformations, organic expansion, turnarounds and the acquisition and integration of new businesses. My track record covers multiple continents and countries. The importance I place on integrity, accountability and diversity has helped me navigate different cultures and markets around the globe.

On March, 2020, I was appointed President, Chief Executive Officer, and member of the board of directors of ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ:ACIW), a global leading provider of real-time electronic payment and banking solutions to leading banks, financial institutions and corporations around the world.

From 2019 to February 2020, I was an Operating Partner at Advent International, one of the world’s largest private equity funds with $54.3B in assets under management across 41 countries. Prior to it, with a 17 years tenure at the Western Union Corporation (WU), the global leader in cross-border and cross-currency money movement, I advanced through increasingly significant general management roles. In my last position, as President Western Union Global Money Transfer, I led Western Union’s $5B global consumer retail and digital business across 200+ countries and territories. My experience at Western Union includes profitable growth acceleration of the global consumer business, transformational growth in Latin America through organic expansion and successful M&A and short-term turnarounds to restore growth across markets in the U.S., Europe, Middle East, Africa, Mexico and the Caribbean. It also includes leading digital transformation which established Western Union as the global digital leader in cross-border consumer money transfer.

I am also a member of the board of directors of Millicom International (NASDAQ:TIGO), a $6B international provider of cable and mobile services to 50M+ consumers in Latin America and Africa. A native of Brazil, I’ve lived and worked in cities in the U.S., Canada and Brazil. I am fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Prior to joining ACI in 2007, Mr. Behrens served as senior vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer at SITEL Corporation from January 2005 to June 2007. Earlier in his career, he served as vice president of Financial Reporting at SITEL Corporation and as a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche, LLP.

Mr. Byrnes serves as executive vice president, general counsel. Prior to ACI in 2003, Mr. Byrnes was an attorney in Bank One's technology group from 2002 to 2003 and before that with Sterling Commerce, an electronic commerce software and services provider, from 1996. Mr. Byrnes began his legal career with Baker & Hostetler, serving as an attorney in that firm from 1991 to 1996. Mr. Dinkins previously served as chief human resources officer at Fiesta Restaurant Group, which operates leading U.S.-based restaurant brands, employing more than 12,000 team members. Prior to Fiesta, he served as senior vice president of human resources at Cable & Wireless Communications, a leading telecommunications company with more than 7,000 employees across 26 countries. Eve Aretakis is ACI’s chief revenue officer. In this role, she leads ACI’s commercial organization, which is focused on driving organic growth globally through sales effectiveness, a targeted go-to-market strategy and superior customer service.

Since joining ACI in 2016, Ms. Aretakis has held a number of executive leadership roles at the company. Most recently, she served as group president of our billers & merchants P&L and was responsible for driving growth and delivering market-leading value to customers through payment solutions deployed in our data center or in the public cloud. Previously, Ms. Aretakis led product development & delivery for ACI, overseeing software engineering, software product management and architecture for our product portfolio.

Prior to joining ACI, Ms. Aretakis served as executive vice president at Unify/Siemens Enterprise Communications, where her responsibilities included P&L management and accountability for software development, product management and manufacturing. She also served as president of IP network solutions at Siemens, unit president of the company’s U.S. carrier division and as executive vice president at Unisphere Networks. She began her career as a software engineer for Texas Instruments and Raytheon.

Ms. Aretakis holds her bachelor’s degree in computer science and economics from Union College.
