    Job DescriptionManufacturing Facilities Field Superintendent We design and build complex projects-and we're seeking a superintendent who thrives on orchestrating field operations from start to finish. Based in Ohio with travel across the U.S., you'll serve as the Prime Contractor's on-site leader for manufacturing work. If your roots are in industrial construction, fantastic; if you bring strong commercial experience and are ready to step into industrial, we'd love to talk. Why this role Lead end-to-end field execution for large footprints (50,000+ sq ft). Shape a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork on every site. Be the critical link between owners, architects/engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. What you'll do Mobilize: set the office trailer; post all permits, labor notices, safety regulations, and EEOC material; establish sanitary stations and coolers. Direct field personnel to meet plans/specs and deliver superior craftsmanship. Develop, update, and manage schedules; remove roadblocks quickly. Order materials, coordinate inspections, and sequence work efficiently. Drive safety meetings and enforce policies; correct hazards on the spot. Assemble submittal logs; secure A/E approvals; communicate schedule impacts. Support change management with timely documentation and backup. Issue and track contract documents to subcontractors, including drawings, specifications, general conditions, and accepted alternates/addenda. Plan/run construction meetings; record precise minutes and distribute promptly. Attend Owner/Architect pre-bid, project, and closeout meetings. Prequalify and solicit subcontractor/supplier proposals ahead of deadlines. Prepare RFIs, transmittals, submittals, schedule of values, schedules, and formal memos. Submit building permit applications; monitor reviews; secure approvals; process fees via Check Request (Urgent Pay Request) per policy. Monitor and document safety, quality, schedule, budget, and performance metrics with scheduling and document-control tools. Track subcontractor and supplier progress; notify them of any plan/spec/schedule changes. Report productivity, costs, quality control, document status, and payment applications to management; escalate issues affecting quality, budget, progress, or safety. Lead punch list planning and completion; maintain a clean, organized site and office. Foster positive relationships with clients, partners, and team members. Qualifications 5+ years as a Prime Contractor leading projects over 50,000 sq ft. Expert knowledge of construction processes, drawings, and specifications. Excellent written and verbal communication; strong presentation and negotiation skills. Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented; adept at multitasking. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. High integrity, proactive leadership, and decisive problem solving. Willing and able to travel extensively and relocate as needed. Education & Experience We value capability and results. Any education/experience mix that equips you to excel will be considered. Minimum of 5-7 years' progressively responsible field experience as a Prime Contractor. The Customer Support rep will provide exceptional customer service while resolving the issues within the guidelines determined by Company. Tasks & Responsibilities: · Provides exceptional customer service to all Company customers. · A deep understanding of the billing, collections, and accounts receivable and can solve issues in a timely fashion. · Proactively review large accounts and handle any issues before the customer is billed. · Could be responsible for on off billing such as consolidated invoicing and invoice uploads into customers AP systems. · Monitor credits on accounts and post them in a timely fashion. · Ensure account activity aligns with the customer agreement · Generate monthly statements and assist in collecting past due balances. · Support with other related duties as needed.
