A Day in the Life
Diagnose and repair motor controls, transformers, mechanical assemblies, and related manufacturing systems.
Lean on your knowledge of 3-phase electric motors and machine control;
CNC electrical controls troubleshooting is a plus

Tackle general facility maintenance: plumbing, carpentry, painting, and upkeep of buildings and grounds-including work at elevated heights.
Maintain critical systems: fire systems (PIVs and extinguishers) and air compressors.
Operate and maintain forklifts and perform rigging to safely position machinery.
Perform fabrication and machine repair-interpret drawings, sketches, and plans to determine work procedures.
Use toolroom equipment; weld steel using ARC and stick methods, plus oxy/acetylene and plasma cutting.
Service hydraulic and pneumatic systems: repair, install, and rebuild valves, pumps, and related components.

Repair relief valves, control valves, on/off valves and pneumatic actuators in FCX actuation facility or customer plant locations.
Mechanically and electrically troubleshoot, inspect, and test valves at specified job worksites. Primary worksites include FCX valve repair centers with occasional customer in-field work sites.

Repair relief valves, control valves, on/off valves and pneumatic actuators in FCX actuation facility or customer plant locations.
Mechanically and electrically troubleshoot, inspect, and test valves at specified job worksites. Primary worksites include FCX valve repair centers with occasional customer in-field work sites.
Perform pre-testing, disassembly, cleaning, in process inspection, machining, lapping, painting, assembly, testing, and final inspection on various types of valves and actuation.
