Your Day-to-Day:
As a Warranty/Parts Associate, you support both internal and external customers with their parts needs. Your responsibilities include:
Assisting customers and technicians in finding the correct parts efficiently and accurately
Maintaining stocking levels and researching parts pricing and labor estimates
Identifying new parts and part categories that need to be added to increase customer satisfaction levels
Working with clients and vendors to manage and follow up on warranty claims
Interacting with customers to ensure a positive experience with the parts department and store and following up with customers and technicians to ensure timely repair
Assisting in cycle counting of the physical inventory and ordering, receiving, pricing, and stocking parts in the service area
Creating service orders and distributing work orders to Service Technicians
Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting suspicious activity
Completing related tasks as assigned

The Field Service Technician is primarily responsible for scheduled and remedial (break-fix) service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units & Battery system products (2-120KVA) serviced by Vertiv, commensurate with appropriate classroom and on-the-job training. Participate in PHAs, LOPA studies, and incident investigations.

Successful incumbents will have:
BS degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.

Knowledge of Microsoft user administrator (AD, AD Azure), Office 365 and Windows and Mac OS are a must. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and CRM is helpful but not critical.
