Your Role as a Warehouse Associate
As a Warehouse Associate, you'll be a key part of our distribution team. Your responsibilities will include:
Unloading freight from trucks and trailers using manual and motorized equipment
Comparing good received and packing slips for order accuracy, inspecting for any damage, and notifying your supervisor of any discrepancies
Scanning or entering product into the inventory control system or related computer program
Maintaining consistent and adequate stock of product on the sales floor and warehouse shelves in a neat and orderly condition
Using manual or motorized equipment to transport inventory between the warehouse and store locations
Participating in scheduled inventory events (physical inventory counts, etc.)
Preparing shipments for customers or other Acme Tools locations
Accurately picking items from customers' orders, shipping orders, or requisitions, preparing shipments, and loading products onto trucks, trailers, or customers' vehicles
Occasionally driving a company vehicle to transport items from warehouse to customer or to pick up items from various locations
Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse to ensure accessibility and safety
Helping with property maintenance (lawn care, snow removal, etc.)
Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity
Completing related tasks as assigned
What We're Looking For:
A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
Computer skills and the ability to learn new softare
Willingness to work with powered equipment (forklift, etc.)
Ability to work a rotating Saturday shift
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand and walk on hard surfaces for the majority of your shift

Description of Primary Accountability or Responsibilities:
Operates company owned or leased bulk or packaged trucks over 20 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations. Perform tasks safely and in a manner consistent with Nexeo Plastics procedures. Position Responsibilities
* Operate company owned and leased trucks over 20 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations of bulk or packaged goods.
* Perform required pre-trip, during and post-trip vehicle inspections and provide required reports.
* Monitor hours of service accurately.
* Provide outstanding customer service during the delivery and pick up operations.
* Assist customers with questions or problems attend to customer needs.
* Ensure delivered goods correspond to products identified on the bill of lading.
* Maintain all required certifications required by the D.O.T, OSHA and company safety programs.
* Maintain and protect all company property entrusted to you in excellent condition.
* During loading and unloading process check weights of shipment and monitor distribution weight to legal road limits.
* Ensures material is properly and safely loaded and unloaded from vehicle for either bulk or packaged delivery.
* Check material for damage and quantity discrepancies.
* Engage appropriate Nexeo Plastics team member if any discrepancies exist.
* Review paperwork to ensure transport of material is authorized and in compliance.
* Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
* Attend and participate in training meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:
