Pros of working at Acosta

The pros of working at Acosta is you take care of your jobs in the field for the most part independently & get to set your own hours. You need to be self motivated & get your jobs done & correctly.

Cons of working at Acosta

Few raises & the new software on the service orders is like scrolling through "War & Peace" Ridiculous amount of instructions & then sometimes they miss giving relevant instructions critical to complete the project. There is a number you can call for assistance in the field, but honestly, you already know more than they do by virtue of being a field rep. Ask a coworker. Career advancement doesn't seem to exist at the field level, which is too bad because there is a lot of untapped talent where many associates could be an EXCELLENT fit for employment in other segments of Acosta. I'd love to see that developed for hourly workers so they don't stagnate in layoff prone positions.

Acosta benefits

PTO & flexibility is historically great, but since a number of acquisitions & mergers these perks have been downgraded but retained for legacy employees. The independent work is appreciated for those not needing constant supervision, but the company seeks to get rid of most full time hourly positions which will leave many employees leaving for other positions for health insurance. Don't care what you say, part- time workers are usually MUCH less invested in their positions than full time ones. It doesn't mean the part- timers won't do the job, but they have little incentive to go above & beyond for clients.

What do you like best about Acosta's CEO and the leadership team?

I'm not qualified to coment on this

How would you improve Acosta's culture?

Keep more full time postions for field employees & work on helping them use their untapped skills in other positions within the company.

How did you prepare for the Acosta interview?

Wasn't a in-depth interview just the basics. Connect with the hiring manager & highlight your experience & tell them why they should hire you for the job!

It's fine

What brings you the most joy at Acosta?

Getting all my stores completed & watching over the clients product & interest in the stores
