Acquisition Logistics (SME)
KBR requires an Acquisition Logistics (SME), located in Dayton, OH, to support several large Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) aircraft programs and initiatives. This candidate will lead OSD, HAF, and AFLCMC-level logistics studies to support major USAF weapon system program decisions. The candidate will provide expert guidance and recommendations that shape acquisition strategies to multiple program offices and to OSD, HAF, and AFLCMC senior staff.
Travel: Regular travel (~10%) to AFLCMC, Air Force Sustainment Center, and contractor locations.
Requirements
The Acquisition Logistics SME must demonstrate comprehensive experience and knowledge of:
• Current USAF acquisition logistics, depot and supply chain management capability
• Product Support Manager (PSM) functions
• Directing product improvements for weapon systems
• Strategic planning for legacy, current, and future USAF sustainment capability
• Developing ACAT I/II/III acquisition logistics artifact such as Lifecycle Sustainment Plans, Product Support Business Case Analyses, Source of Repair/Commodity analyses, and other acquisition milestone deliverables
DoD Clearance Requirement: SECRET
The Acquisition Logistics SME must have at least 15 years of experience in DoD/Air Force logistics. At least two (3) years acting as an ACAT I/II/III PSM within the last 10 years.
Candidate must possess the ability to work well as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
This position will be a key member of a high-performance, fast-paced, high visibility team. Key management skills required:

The position will allow various combinations of education and experience using a 1 year of education for 1 year of experience substitution.
