As Chief Technology Officer, Ashok Ramu brings more than 20 years of experience in successfully building and launching large scale data management solutions in the enterprise market Ashok was most recently part of the founding team and Vice President Engineering at ExaGrid Systems, where he led the product team and helped build and transform the business to a profitable venture. Prior to ExaGrid, Ashok was Director of Software Engineering at Lucent Technologies leading a number of initiatives in advanced technology portfolio. Previously, Ashok held various leadership and management roles in Software Engineering at Ignitus Communications and FORE Systems. Ashok holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Master of Science in Mathematics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India and a Master of Computer Science degree from University of Illinois. An avid runner and traveller, when he is not at his desk you can find him on exploring new terrain be it on a local hike or an exotic destination!

As Chief Marketing Officer, Brian Reagan brings more than 20 years experience accelerating growth for storage and data management organizations.

He was most recently the CTO of the Resiliency Services division at IBM Corporation, responsible for the technology strategy, R&D, solution engineering, and application development for all global offerings including cloud services.

Prior to IBM, he was CMO for Arsenal Digital Solutions, which was purchased by IBM in 2008, as well as CMO for performance data storage firm Xiotech.

Reagan also held senior-level strategy and marketing roles at EMC Corporation and MCI Telecommunications. Reagan has served as an advisor to a number of startups throughout his career.

Brian holds a B.A. from Bennington College and a MBA from George Mason University.

He is a passionate advocate for food allergy research and education and member of the FARE organization, as both of his children have food allergies.

Through the organization, he has participated in charitable events, walks, and lobbying in Washington, D.C. over the past decade.

As Global Field CTO, Brylan Achilles brings almost 20 years of experience taking innovative solutions in data management to market for early stage startups.

Prior to Actifio, Brylan designed customer solutions at Archivas, an object storage solution that was acquired by Hitachi Data Systems in 2007, covering strategic accounts and global financial services customers.

Before joining Archivas, Brylan held senior technical roles in both presales and professional services at AppIQ, the market leader for Storage Resource Management, which was acquired by HP in 2005.

Earlier in his career, Brylan worked in consulting for StorageNetworks, a storage management software and managed services pioneer.

Brylan holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Indiana University.

Edward M. Durkin has over 35 years of financial and executive experience and is responsible for all aspects of Actifio’s rapidly-growing global financial, legal and administrative operations. Prior to joining Actifio, Durkin was the CFO at Digital Guardian, Inc. and Chief Financial Officer of Interactions, Inc. both rapidly growing technology companies with international operations. Durkin has also served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Tactical Communications Group, LLC and, prior to TCG, as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Business Development at Incipient Inc. an enterprise-focused storage virtualization software company. Durkin also served as CFO of Open Market Inc., a publicly-traded software company, and CFO at Radview Software, where he was instrumental in successfully taking Radview through its IPO. Earlier in his career, he served as Director of Finance and Administration of CrossComm Corporation, a publicly-traded networking company which he helped take through its IPO and secondary offering, and StarBurst Software, and he began his career with ten years of experience at Ernst & Young, LLP. Finally, he has served as member of the Board of Directors at Tactical Communications Group, LLC., a member of the Board of Directors at Cast Navigation and as a Board and Audit Committee member of Community BanCorp. Inc., prior to its acquisition by Citizens Financial Group. Mr. Durkin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts graduating cum laude, and earned his CPA certification while at Ernst & Young LLP.

An Immunologist by training, he holds a Top Secret security clearance and is responsible for Actifio’s US Government defense and intelligence programs. Prior to joining Actifio, Dr. Meyers was one of Actifio’s earliest customers while serving as Director of Technology for Medicine at Boston University and Boston Medical Center, and has been intricately

involved in the development and shaping of Actifio’s products and solutions from the earliest days of the company. His current interests lie in Big Data, machine learning, cryptography, and information security, and he routinely works with Actifio’s customers, prospects, and partners to help achieve their security goals and respond to emerging threats.
