Action Environmental is currently looking for a CDL driver for our new, growing office. This position will require a hardworking, hands-on, safety conscious work ethic. Drivers are responsible for driving and operating equipment on job sites and moving equipment to other job sites and landfills. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive and operate equipment on site and move equipment to other job sites
Transport equipment to landfill
May be required to assist technicians with work on job site
Work in environments with Hazardous Materials and excessive noise levels
Work extended hours, evening, and weekend work, as well as work out of town for extended periods of time, when mandatory. Because of the emergency response and operational nature of the position, a continuing condition of employment is that this position acknowledges and agrees to be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and on occasion will require work during week-ends and holidays

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to pass DOT Medical and Pulmonary Fit Tests

Driving
Drives RV to the location for simulation, to locations where clinic services will be delivered and to deliver telehealth equipment, constantly adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.

Trip Planning

Determines that the parking location meets requirements for safe use of bigfoot hydraulic system (RV)

Sets up portable table and chairs at the location
Ensures generator is functioning at the site
Plugs the RV in to electricity at the location (if available)
Works with Tex-TRAC team and hospital for loading/unloading carts
Determines in advance where the RV/Trailer can be parked at sites

Communicates delivery schedules, addressing any issues or concerns

The Concierge-Driver at Hope Lodge serves as both a guest service ambassador and the primary transportation provider for lodge guests. In addition to performing front desk and concierge duties, this role is responsible for operating lodge vehicles safely and courteously, maintaining transportation schedules, and ensuring vehicle readiness. The Concierge-Driver helps guests travel to and from medical appointments and community resources, supporting a safe, reliable, and welcoming experience.
The schedule for this role is 7:30 am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday at $19.54 per hour. This role is fully benefits eligible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Operate lodge vehicles to transport guests safely to medical appointments and other approved destinations (40%)
Greet guests, manage check-in/out, and provide information about lodge amenities and local resources (15%)
Coordinate and maintain transportation schedules to ensure timely pick-up and drop-off (15%)
Conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report maintenance needs (10%)
Respond to guest requests, concerns, and emergencies during transportation and at the lodge (10%)
Maintain accurate transportation and guest records, including mileage logs and trip data (10%)
Support front desk operations, including phones, emails, and lobby security, as needed (10%)
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Experience providing passenger transport or shuttle services preferred
Previous hospitality or guest service experience is a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Defensive driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws
Ability to navigate efficiently and maintain punctual schedules
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with guests and caregivers

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The role may require extended periods of standing and walking, particularly during front desk duties and while assisting guests.
Occasional lifting and moving of luggage, packages, or other items may be necessary when assisting guests with check-in, check-out, or transportation.
Driving guests to appointments may involve sitting for extended periods and operating a vehicle, which requires physical coordination and stamina.
Some manual tasks, such as carrying luggage or opening doors for guests, may be during guest interactions.
