Under the direction of the Shipping Department Lead, the associate will pull, package, stage, load, and ship orders to meet our customers specifications and delivery deadlines. Some of your day to day tasks: Locate and move products to fill internal and external orders. Inspect parts while pulling and or packing for damage and or visual defects. Secure products onto crates, pallets, boxes and shipping containers. Build custom crates, pallets, and boxes and ensure the correct packaging materials are used to reduce product damage while in transit. Date entry of packing and shipping in the computer system Properly label deliveries and allocate to designated location. Understand regulations behind shipping hazarded materials Assist with LTL, FedEx and UPS shipments Stage and load trucks for shipping Maintain a clean and organized work area. Identify and implement ways to improve the quality, cost, safety, delivery and moral of the area Help in other work areas as assigned by the Shipping Dept. Lead or Shipping Supervisor What do you need to be able to do? Some of your day-to-day tasks? Pre-Construction & Design Coordination • Support Sales with equipment selections and bid accuracy. •Review HVAC drawings for design discrepancies, constructability, code considerations, and sensor/conduit layouts. •Provide value-engineering recommendations to reduce cost and improve system performance. •Develop accurate project scopes, drawings, and documentation for mechanical contractors. Project Execution •Coordinate with Engineering, the ATI shop, and outside vendors to ensure correct equipment, parts, and delivery schedules. •Manage RFIs, changes, and site-specific constraints proactively. •Oversee field installation, ensuring work matches drawings/specifications. •Coordinate startup, commissioning, balancing, and final system approval. Vendor & Contractor Collaboration •Build and maintain strong relationships with preferred mechanical contractors. •Provide contractors with clear deliverables and expectations throughout installation. •Track and manage outside vendor invoices and job costs to stay within budget. •Maintain and gain vendor relations to lower costs. Process, Quality, & Continuous Improvement •Contribute to improving drawings, documentation, communication standards, and overall project consistency. •Document lessons learned and help refine procedures for the full HVAC lifecycle. •Assist internal teams with margin analysis, cost accuracy, and project forecasting. •Review internal systems and procedures to capture future cost savings. Site Visits & Travel •Conduct site reviews, coordination meetings, and final inspections. •Typical travel: 2-4 trips per month; occasional international travel. •Must be able to obtain a passport and access secure facilities. Skills & Abilities •Working knowledge of HVAC systems, sensors, and low-voltage controls.•Basic understanding of PLC logic, Niagara, VFD setup, and IP networking (or willingness to learn).•Familiarity with equipment such as Greenheck, Daikin, and Aaon; ability to pursue OEM certifications.•Strong ability to coordinate across multiple trades on tight schedules.•Decisive problem-solver able to make and own key decisions.•Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and standard office software.
