What You Will Do

Sample Analysis:

Member Experience:
Develop safe, professional, exciting and comprehensive personal training programs to ensure clients are satisfied with their workout program and remain motivated to attain their personal fitness goals
Monitor and instruct clients during personal training sessions on the safe and effective use of strength training equipment, cardiovascular and flexibility.
Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trends
Conduct fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening, medical history, lifestyle questionnaire, and goal setting to assess and recommend personal training programs
Deliver personal training programs based on the client's ability and goals
Complete and maintain accurate and current client files
Fulfill member service requirement, up to 30 hours per week -- duties may include the following:
Fitness assessments
Floor service, to include member service calls
Educating members and clients in supplements and offer proper solution to attain fitness goals
Sales & Promotion:
Promote and sell Edge Fitness programs, services, and products, to include:

Responsible for achieving or exceeding monthly revenue and session goals

Complete all administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan

Pay Transparency: $19-30/hour DOE (base rate of pay + piece rate for delivered swim lessons) Role and Responsibilities The Aquatics Instructor is responsible for teaching safe and effective small group and/or private swim classes for our members and are required to hold and maintain educational standards commensurate with Active Wellness quality and commitment to aquatics safety.
Specific Responsibilities
Essential Functions
* Teaches various levels and age groups in accordance with Active Wellness instructional guidelines.
* Plan lessons, select appropriate drills, and evaluate the student's progress.
* Present proper demonstrations and explain skills, analyze and correct performance, minimize fear, and use appropriate teaching devices.
* Maintain a safe and positive teaching environment.
* Attend all in-service trainings.
* Maintain accurate records and prepare course completion certificates.
* Perform all swimming strokes and skills taught in all levels.
* Effectively communicate each student's progress either to the student directly, or to the student's parents where appropriate.
* Assist with water quality testing and record keeping for pools/spa, and pool/spa equipment observation and maintenance
* Administer emergency care to members and guests in need of assistance
* Work as a TEAM with all other departments
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
