*Job Summary*
* Responsible for exceptional care of children in Kids Club and providing ongoing age-appropriate activities to engage and benefit the children.
* Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club's operations, it may be necessary for each employee to perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed.
*Job Tasks (Essential Functions)*

* Provides weekly & seasonal activity plans to supervisor that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving appropriate to the development levels of the children.
* Requests necessary supplies for Kids Club in a timely manner.
* Assists in the selection of books, equipment, and other instructional materials appropriate for the children.
* Ensures updated records are kept of each child that is cared for.
* Provides a safe environment and supports the social and emotional development of the children.
* Attends to the personal hygiene of each child in our care, including changing diapers or soiled clothing and washing hands.
* Offers meals and snacks to the children in alignment with the parents' wishes.
* Completes member charges accurately.
* Ensures the Kids Club areas are cleaned and straightened up each day, including vacuuming, sanitizing equipment, & removing any trash and taking it to the dumpster.
