What Does An Activities Supervisor Do At Hope Community Resources, Inc.
* Develops and oversees implementation of recreational and skill building activities and informational materials for kids, teens, and adults that develop and improve socialization, communication, education, social independence, and community skills.* Participates with evaluating and implementing recreation programs on a regular basis.* Coordinates varying interests, behaviors, and abilities to provide optimal recreational and skill building therapy.* Monitors community sites both announced and unannounced and communicates with vendors that Hope utilizes for inclusionary activities in accordance with local, state, and Federal regulations.* Coordinates and schedules transportation for support recipients to and from activities from their homes, other service providers, schools etc. and schedules transportation for daily camp and programming activities.* Develops and submits behavioral and/or mental health referrals.* Ensures appropriate implementation of behavioral and/or treatment plans.* Develops fees and ensures procurement of supplies for activities.* Maintains daily activity logs and corresponding receipts; provides monthly reconciliation to Accounting department* Develops staff through teaching, coaching and mentoring in the delivery of quality services.* Supervises, develops, evaluates, counsels, and disciplines staff.* Collaborates in all aspects of onboarding personnel to fulfill service requirements.* Monitors and ensures staff training compliance, support recipient specific trainings, as well as compliance with employment related documents.* Schedules staff in alignment with services delineated in the Plan of Care and/or support plans and with service delivery requirements.* Completes specified tasks associated with development of a support recipient’s Plan of Care and/or support plans in accordance with state requirements.* Develops goals and objectives in partnership with support recipients in alignment with their desired outcomes and ensures staff implementation.* Monitors service utilization and goal progress for support recipients and implements corrections as necessary.* Maintains knowledge of support recipients’ Plans of Care and/or support plans and the requirements for those plans assigned to oversee.* Ensures all services and activities are provided in a cost effective manner and in alignment with relevant Agency, local, state, and federal regulations and complies with mandatory reporting responsibilities.* Monitors, reviews, approves, and ensures accurate and timely submission of service and employment related documentation from direct support staff
