Acuren is seeking a Rope Access I for operations in Lima, OH. THIS WILL BE AN EMBEDDED FULL-TIME POSITION. The Rope Access Tech I is an entry-level position, responsible for carrying out duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner as assigned under the supervision of higher-level rope access technicians. Responsibilities * Perform specific job functions per the direction of the Rope Access Supervisor or a Level II/III Rope Access Technician * Inspect and validate rope access equipment and systems for safety and compliance prior to use. * Assist in preparing and setting up rope access equipment and systems as directed by the Lead RAT * Identify potential worksite hazards and promptly report unsafe conditions to the Rope Access Level III/ Supervisor * Record results of inspections as directed by the Lead RAT * Safely ascend, descend, and maneuver on ropes using standard rope access techniques. * Assist in basic rescue operations under the supervision of higher-level rope access technicians * Maintain current certifications and training records in compliance with IRATA or SPRAT requirements * Assist other technicians as required * Other work duties as assigned. Major Responsibilities/Activities: Assess the implementation of the Quality Program and provide guidance on improvements. Provide the Mistras personnel with guidance in the application and implementation of the Quality Assurance Program. Contribute to the process of writing, revising and implementation of the Mistras Quality Manual, Procedures, Forms, etc. Conduct Principal Level 3 activities, and/or support for specific clients or industry (i.e. Aerospace, Nuclear, DoD, etc.). Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and auditing ISO 9001 Quality Systems. Hold Level 3 Certifications in at least two testing methods and/or at least 4 years of direct experience in the management of quality activities. Must have experience with NAVSEA quality program management. Must hold or willing to obtain Lead Auditor Certification. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment and meet defined deadlines. The Assistant Technician will assist the Level II NDE Technician with the designated NDT method activities while gaining experience and knowledge.
