We're expanding beyond second lines into a broader suite of privacy tools, including VPN, Verified Numbers, and more. We're a small, fast-moving team with a dry, witty, privacy-savvy tone-and a very low tolerance for cringe. If you care about autonomy, clever ideas, and performance that doesn't scream “growth hack,” you'll feel right at home. The Role We're looking for a dedicated UGC Marketing Manager to build and run our user-generated content program across paid and organic channels. You'll scout creators, pitch scripts, review content, and build a sustainable pipeline of high-performing UGC-while also exploring new formats like customer-submitted content, original social concepts, and influencer-driven stories. Customer Sourcing: Test and manage creator outreach strategies from within the app-e.g., surface modals that invite happy customers to contribute content. Influencer Vetting & Management: Review influencer pitches and submissions, provide multi-round feedback, and ensure all assets meet brand and quality standards. Trendspotting & Hook Building: Adapt platform-native trends and formats into scripts and prompts that feel authentic to the Burner brand. Original Series Development: Collaborate with Brand and freelance talent to develop short-form series (e.g., “hot takes” on privacy or street-style interviews) aligned with Burner's voice. Negotiation & Coordination: Handle outreach, contracts, usage rights, timelines, payments, and revisions-end to end. Brand x Performance: Balance Burner's dry, clever tone with the demands of performance marketing. Avoid cringe. Fight the urge to overexplain. Content Library Management: Organize briefs, raw files, cutdowns, and usage terms in Notion or a similar system. Testing & Reporting: Collaborate with Growth and Paid teams to test creators, formats, and angles-and report learnings back into the system. What You Bring Experience producing UGC or managing creator campaigns for performance (Meta ads in particular) A sharp eye for authentic-feeling video, and an aversion to overproduced content Familiarity with trends and formats across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook Strong organizational and communication skills-you can brief clearly and manage lots of moving parts Experience with privacy, tech, dating, gig work, or niche app categories A point of view on Burner's brand, and ideas for how to bring it to life in UGC Bonus Points Familiarity with key creative-forward metrics inside Meta ads (hook rate, hold rate, IPM, etc) Familiarity with various approaches to testing creative Understanding of what makes people/users convert Ability to understand and quickly iterate on what's “working” Experience working with customer creators or testimonial-based content Original content programming chops (series, campaigns, voices) Experience in privacy, dating, gig work, or privacy-sensitive categories The DetailsHours: Minimum 10/week, flexible scheduling Start: October 2025Location: Remote (Los Angeles-based preferred for on-site video shoots when needed) Reporting to: Creative PM (Malique) Contract: 3-month to start, with potential to extend
