DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Read and follow instructions as provided by the supervisor. Work together with crew/team as a helper. Keep work area clean and organized. Collect pertinent insurance information. Answer any questions/phone calls pertaining to patient results. Prioritize STAT, scheduled and outpatient orders. Display courteous, professional manner towards patients, co-workers, nursing and medical staff. Assist physician offices with all laboratory needs. Maintains a clean working area. Clean and supply venipuncture trays. Periodically required to travel offsite for specimen pickup, phlebotomy or report delivery. Maintain patient/employee confidentiality and privacy at all times.
