As a District Manager, you will have a meaningful impact on multiple communities, guiding property leaders and ensuring the portfolio's operational and financial success. What You'll Do as a District Manager We're seeking an experienced, strategic, and people-focused District Manager (Regional Property Manager) to lead a portfolio of apartment communities. In this role, you will: Oversee the operational, financial, and business performance of a multi-site portfolio Analyze financial statements, monitor budget performance, and partner with ownership/leadership to address performance gaps Conduct regular property inspections, review market trends, and implement action plans to meet portfolio goals Provide strong leadership to Property Managers, including interviewing, hiring, coaching, training, and performance management Ensure appropriate staffing and guide the development of community teams Support and strengthen client/owner relationships through proactive communication and timely reporting Promote resident satisfaction through operational excellence and responsiveness Complete necessary financial, administrative, and HR-related reports Foster a culture of accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you MUST have: 10+ years of Apartment Industry experience • 5+ years of current Regional/District Manager experience overseeing multiple sites Strong background in managing financials, operations, and performance planning Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support dispersed teams Excellent analytical, organizational, and strategic decision-making abilities Experience with owner-managed conventional apartment communities High sense of urgency and the ability to meet multiple deadlines Industry certifications (CPM, CAPS, CAM, etc.) and a college degree are preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Important: Candidates must live within a reasonable travel distance of the portfolio or be willing to relocate.
