Position Summary Perform a wide variety of mechanical or measurement assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable assembling, bonding and fitting on assembly units. Make setups and adjustments, holding tolerances to blueprint and test specifications. Reports to: Assembly Supervisor Job Duties Acquires job skills and learns all applicable company policies and procedures. Complete assigned tasks while following manufacturing, schedules, policies and procedures. Normally receives little instruction on daily work. Requires instructions on newly introduced assignments. Assumes responsibility for meeting schedules and quality of work. Act as a champion of the company's Lean and Continuous Improvement programs. Complete a variety of manufacturing tasks as trained and directed by your supervisor including but not limited to bonding, potting, hand soldering (surface mount/thru hole & wire bonding), mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly. Notify manager of all Defective Material Reports (DMR). Ability to escalate situations and conditions that are critical to quality, safety and on-time delivery. Education and Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent. 2+ years of related experience. Experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment a plus. Experience in surface mount and thru hole pcba soldering required. Soldering certification to IPC 610 or willingness to complete certifications. Demonstrated the ability to perform delicate, high skill, processes on small parts. Experience in an ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing environment preferred. Experience with MRP systems a plus. Job Requirements Have good manual dexterity. Computer skills and literacy. Strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Produce quality products in accordance with labor and quality standards. Follow all applicable manufacturing procedures and documentation. This role will supervise a Corporate Compliance Engineer and will indirectly supervise multiple designated JC Focals worldwide. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Provide strategic guidance/direction to business stakeholders across the organization (e.g. executive and business operations teams responsible for global marketing, business development, global manufacturing and product development functions) with a focus on designing product for successful introduction in intended markets. Monitor applicable regulations affecting current or future Jurisdiction & Classification determinations for both U.S. and non-U.S. jurisdictions, and lead efforts to implement holds, changes, hold releases or license updates proactively with the assistance of the Trade Automation & Licensing teams as well as in the business units to avoid unauthorized transfers. Job Description Job Summary: This position will test opto-mechanical systems in accordance to manufacturing documentation (assembly instructions, process documents, etc.) using a variety of hand tools, measuring devices and test equipment. This position will be a 2nd Shift position with hours from 03:00 PM to 11:00 PM. This position will train for the first 8-12 weeks on the 1st Shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Align and test optical systems using interferometry, alignment telescope, and optical inspection devices. Work with assembly and inspection tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, height gages, and dial indicators. Environmental testing of opto-mechanical systems using thermal chambers and vibration machines. Document actions by completing checklists. Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. General lab maintenance as necessary. Job Qualifications: High school diploma or 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar position/field is strongly preferred. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a progressive manufacturing industry is preferred. Optical alignment and test experience desired. Assembly experience desired. Ability to read assembly drawings and process instructions. Experience using standard hand tools - Allen wrenches, screw drivers, torque wrenches, etc. Familiarity with computers as applicable to manufacturing. Possess a solid, quality minded work ethic and strong attention to detail. Interface in a collaborative manner to foster effective and inspiring group dynamics is preferred.
