Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior PayrollSpecialist - to join our Payroll team. This position will report to the Payroll Manager and may work up to 40 hours a week. Preferred experience with ADP Workforce Now, Kronos, as well as processing payroll for employees.
Salary Range: $80,000- $95,000
Key Responsibilities of Senior PayrollSpecialist:
The Senior PayrollSpecialist will handle payroll processing for 500+ multi state employees as needed.
Research payroll, tax and garnishment related inquiries and take appropriate action to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
The Senior PayrollSpecialist will process garnishments and other court orders in a timely manner by mail or serving the employees and setting up deductions into the payroll system.
Assists with year-end payroll processing duties to ensure accurate and timely W2s.
Import time & attendance, payroll, and benefits deduction data.
Job Qualifications of Senior PayrollSpecialist:
Experience, full cycle payroll processing
Payroll and payroll tax processing experience required
Knowledge of and experience with payroll and timekeeping software such as Workday, ADP, Kronos, Paycor, etc.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and tax laws
Proven ability to work productively, efficiently, & effectively with initiative and drive under a tight timeline and pressure with minimal supervision
