We are seeking skilled welders with expertise in MIG or TIG welding in Salem, OH. The role involves MIG welding on aluminum or steel and includes both production and fab shop welding. You will be expected to interpret blueprints, set up welding machines based on job specifications, and utilize robotic welders as needed.
**Shift Details:**
1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
2nd Shift: 4:30 PM - 1:30 AM
**Responsibilities:**
+ Perform MIG welding on aluminum or steel.
+ Engage in production welding and some fab shop welding.
+ Interpret and read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
+ Set up welding machines according to job and welding procedure specifications.
+ Utilize robotic welders as necessary.
+ Fit products to blueprint specifications.
**Essential Skills:**
+ 3+ years of MIG or TIG welding experience, with a preference for aluminum.
+ Blueprint interpretation skills.

**Work Environment**
Work in a very nice facility with clean, organized, and safe conditions. The company operates on 1st shift (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM) and 2nd shift (4:30 PM - 1:30 AM), Monday through Friday. As a fabricator of the year in 2023, the company offers state-of-the-art equipment and a focus on quality metal products. Founded in 1942, the company spans across seven locations with over 400,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities, providing a complete end-to-end metal fabrication process.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
