Position Summary
As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Adena, you'll play a key role in delivering direct care to a diverse patient population. Working closely under the supervision of a licensed PhysicalTherapist, you'll help implement individualized treatment plans that address orthopedic, neurologic, developmental, and cognitive challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care based on the PhysicalTherapist's plan of care
Assist patients in achieving mobility, strength, and functional goals through therapeutic interventions
Monitor and report patient progress, challenges, and response to treatment
Maintain timely, accurate documentation and support regulatory compliance
Collaborate with the care team to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes
Uphold professionalism, safety, and ethical standards in every interaction
Qualifications
Required Education: Graduate of an accredited PhysicalTherapistAssistant program
Required Licensure & Certifications:
Current Ohio PTA License or eligibility to obtain
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification
Valid Ohio Driver's License and proof of insurance
Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of experience in direct patient care (consideration given to new grads with strong clinical skills)
Background in orthopedic, neurologic, developmental, or cognitive rehabilitation is a plus.

**Job Summary:**
The Occupational TherapistAssistant provides patient treatment under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Documents patient treatment and progress toward goals in the patient electronic health record. Implements established treatment programs and provides patient and family education. HOW YOU'LL WORK:
You'll provide comprehensive skilled services as ordered by the attending physician. You will educate patients and their family members and ensures the safety of the patient. You are accountable for completing accurate documentation and remaining compliant with all legal rules and regulations.

Family Educator/Advocate:

Policies:
Completes all clinical documentation following agency protocol and Medicare/Federal guidelines.
Rules and Regulations:
