Respiratory Therapist (RT) Responsibilities include: Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain and progress the rehab patients with many different Respiratory illness/diseases and non-respiratory illness. Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment. Complete a variety of bedside treatments. Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter Responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly documentation. Attend applicable IDT meetings. Experience with tracheotomy Experience is a long-term care setting. Follow the facility's procedure and protocol. Completes tracking, auditing, and caseload management.
