    We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in our fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for supervising maintenance employees in the maintenance and installation of plant equipment, supporting the setup of production processes, and assisting in the coordination of plant maintenance objectives. Your leadership will be key to driving equipment reliability and production efficiency. Specific Duties: The Maintenance Manager executes assignments related to the plant maintenance functions, supervises the activities of skilled employees, and assures the accomplishment of the assigned tasks. Maintenance of the plant's grounds, machinery and equipment; including preventive maintenance, planned and emergency maintenance. Set up and maintain production's tooling and equipment. Participate in objective setting, plan development and performance review of plant performance. Initiates, implements, and manages the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the Automotive industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance. Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary. Establishes and maintains a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment. Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems. Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner. Maintains and updates operating and training manuals for the maintenance department. Ensures that all maintenance technicians are trained on the most updated technology and operating procedures. Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement. The Maintenance Manager plans the performance of preventative maintenance activities based upon personal knowledge and interval records of equipment wear and the manufacturer's recommendations regarding service. Schedules and coordinates the accomplishment of this work to minimize interference with production operations. Develops and maintains key, preferred suppliers and spare part inventories. Schedules incoming materials for planned maintenance activities. Schedules work to prevent idle time and to provide maximum machine utilization. Schedules overtime work among maintenance employees to equalize overtime fairly. Determines priority of maintenance job backlog and schedules work accomplished. Schedules vacations in such a manner to not interfere with necessary maintenance. Responsible for upgrading the effectiveness of maintenance personnel. Schedules and conducts meetings with instructions relating to maintenance skills, safety, and Company Policy. Handles all job-related problems in maintenance honestly and fairly without violation of Company Policies or Procedures. Performs other duties deemed necessary by the Engineering Manager. Education & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance or manufacturing, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience. At least 3 years of Management or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and tooling systems. Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics and blueprints. Proven expertise in electrical and electronic systems, particularly in the programming and application of PC/PLC controls. Fisher Dynamics is currently seeking a Facility Maintenance associate on 1st Shift at our Saint Clair Shores, MI facility. This person must be experienced in 480V, and is responsible for assisting the maintenance department in all areas of facility maintenance. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance Assist in maintenance repairs Equipment, Building and General Housekeeping Run errands as necessary Communicate with coworkers to carry out job duties Drywall/plaster repair and painting Furniture assembly and relocation Changing lights and/or fixtures Plumbing repairs, replacements, installation Carpentry repairs and installations (doors, shelves, countertops) Facility safety inspections Roof repairs, point of entry repairs Concrete and asphalt paving inspections and repairs Construction skills such as carpentry, painting, and plumbing Grounds - maintain exterior walkways, stairs, patio, fences, lawn care, fences, gates, etc. Assisting with maintenance, repair, and safety requirements Ability to work with 480 Volt power Run conduit for power runs Run pipe threading machines Ability to hook-up new machinery Various other duties as required by the department.
