The ideal candidate will enjoy 80% protected research time along with dedicated research support staff including project management and biostatistical support. The candidate will have the opportunity to leverage unique assets for research including more than 25 years of longitudinal electronic health records data, a large health system-based >175k exome sequencing study (MyCode), and a system-wide biobank. Job Duties:
Provides technical and intellectual leadership to a coherent research program that contributes new knowledge to the relevant areas of investigation.
Directs day-to-day development, maintenance, and supervision of a productive and nationally competitive research program.
Identifies the research question, formulates the hypothesis, plans the experiments, records the observations and data, analyzes the data, and draws conclusions.
Prepares/submits applications for external funding from national agencies; garnering funding in support the research program.
Oversees completion of the specific aims of funded projects.

Position Details:
The Department of Nephrology is a dynamic, academic department with a fellowship program and 20+ faculty members. Clinical duties to supplement research initiatives will be flexible and may include providing inpatient and outpatient consultative services, dialysis, and graduate medical education.
The Center for Kidney Health Research (CKHR): Co-led by Dr. Chang and Dr. Green, the CKHR is dedicated to decreasing the burden of kidney disease through a clinic-based, patient-oriented research program in a learning healthcare system environment. Current areas of research focus include: access to kidney transplantation, acute kidney injury rehabilitation clinic, decision-making in elderly CKD patients, early detection of CKD, genetics of CKD, cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic syndrome, and patient-centered care. Resources include research data analyst support, project manager, project coordinators, and a research assistant. CKHR investigators have active funding from the NIH, PCORI, and the National Kidney Foundation, and have active collaborations across the health system and with many institutions nationally and internationally.

Rotating - 12 Hour (United States of America) This is for the Oncology Rapid Assessment Center (ORAC) area in the ITA.
This role is an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) working in the Oncology Rapid Assessment Center managing urgent symptomatic patient concerns, including administering chemotherapy, blood products, antibiotics, symptom management, and patient education. The patient population consists of Medical Oncology and Hematology patients. This RN role should also have experience identifying and managing cancer related emergency symptoms.
A Brief Overview
The Clinical Nurse (CN) is an RN who provides hands-on care to patients, practicing in an evidence-based manner, within the Scope of Practice of the California Nursing Practice Act, regulatory requirements, standards of care, and hospital policies. What is needed for this job:
Minimum 16 years of age.
Excellent knowledge of volleyball and instruction.
Ability to perform activities which require sustained concentration and attention.
The responsibilities we will trust you with:
Conduct YMCA program instruction in accordance with YMCA program standards.
Incorporate character development objectives into the program to reinforce the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Provide a safe environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs and provide an enjoyable YMCA experience.
Evaluate program skills, complete progress reports for each session and complete communications for parents.
Provide excellent service to members and participants. Communicate all YMCA rules and ensure that you are accessible and identifiable.

Watercolor, acrylic painting and/or drawing instructor wanted to teach art classes at the Michaels store in West Hazleton!
This is a part-time, permanent position. This is a great opportunity for an artist who would like to be able to offer classes, but does not have their own studio space to do so.
We are looking for instructors who:
-have the ability to paint and/or draw realistically
-have the ability to teach realistic, acrylic painting, watercolor and/or drawing classes
-have the willingness to market their classes and build their own student base
Compensation:
FREE Basics: MAKE A Project Classes: Scheduled up to one time per month
Hourly rate plus $3 per student
Advanced Classes: Acrylic Painting, Watercolor and Drawing Classes:
Hourly rate plus $7 per student for 6 students in attendance or less
Hourly rate plus $10 per student for 7 students in attendance or more
*All schedules to be determined between instructor and Michaels store management.
Duration: Classes are two hours in length.
The goal of each class is for students to leave with a finished painting or drawing.
Certification: All Grumbacher art instructors who teach classes at Michaels must become certified through Grumbacher.
