Department overview
Boise State's Marketing Department currently offers Marketing Major (BBA) and Minor programs of study and a certificate in Professional Sales. Students majoring in marketing may choose emphasis areas in Brand and Product Marketing or Marketing Communications. Marketing courses, on average, enroll 34 students per course. Approximately 105 students per year graduate with a Marketing Major.

Minimum qualifications
Earned doctorate (PhD or DBA) in marketing or related discipline awarded by an AACSB-accredited program on or before August 2026.
Demonstrated potential for a sustained program of high-quality scholarly research in Marketing.
Evidence of teaching effectiveness at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
Preferred qualifications
A record of peer-reviewed journal publications or strong evidence of a pipeline in progress.

Salary and Benefits
Base salary of $136,500 is competitive with AACSB median salaries for public research institutions.

As a Winter Nordic Instructor, you will ensure guests of all ages and abilities enjoy a safe, fun, and educational experience. You will teach lessons, manage student groups, provide guidance on equipment and techniques, and support the rental and sales operations as needed.

Hourly rate plus $3 per student
Advanced Classes
: Acrylic and Watercolor Classes:
Hourly rate plus $7 per student for 6 students in attendance or less
Hourly rate plus $10 per student for 7 students in attendance or more
*All schedules to be determined between instructor and Michaels store management.
Duration:
Classes are two hours in length.
The goal of each class is for students to leave with a finished drawing or painting.
Certification:
All Grumbacher art instructors who teach classes at Michaels must become certified through Grumbacher.

19. New experienced RN hires with one year of experience or more are hired as a Level II with the expectation that Level II be maintained for the duration of employment with the opportunity to advance on the Professional Development Ladder if appropriate criteria is met.
