Role Description
This is a temporary on-site role for an Ultrasound Instructor specializing in Musculoskeletal applications, based in Danbury, CT. The instructor will deliver hands-on training and theoretical instruction in musculoskeletal ultrasound techniques designed for both educational workshops and certification preparation. Responsibilities include guiding learners through ultrasound protocols and diagnostics, ensuring high-quality instruction, and supporting learners' mastery of techniques during structured sessions. Professional collaboration with the program team may also be required.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Experience in teaching, mentoring, or providing professional training in a medical or educational setting
Strong knowledge in ultrasound techniques, anatomy, and protocols
Effective verbal communication and presentation skills for teaching diverse audiences
Current RDMS or relevant sonography certification; POCUS certification is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively in an educational and clinical environment

Maintain regularly scheduled office hours; Adjunct must be available a minimum of one additional hour per week, either in-person or virtually, to provide support to students.
Attend program/department meetings as requested.
Demonstrate knowledge of the current methods and practices for teaching college-level courses; present qualified and clear instruction related to the course subject.
Learn and utilize technology offered at USJ to facilitate teaching.
Meet all designated class periods in the semester as dictated by the academic calendar.

Requirements:

What You'll Do
You will be matched with opportunities to teach hip hop dance to K-12 students at schools, buildings, and communities across Connecticut and New York. These teaching opportunities will be for terms that could last anywhere from 6 weeks to 18 weeks. In this role, you'll have the following responsibilities:
Conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum for your class
Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!)
Create and memorable experience for the children in your class to help them grow and develop a passion for dance
Help children understand why hip hop is so wonderful and how it's helped shape you as a person

Role Description
This is a temporary on-site role for an Ultrasound Instructor specializing in Gastrointestinal diagnostics, based in Danbury, CT. The Ultrasound Instructor will facilitate hands-on training sessions, deliver theoretical lectures, and demonstrate ultrasound techniques for gastrointestinal applications. Additional responsibilities include assessing student progress, ensuring compliance with educational standards, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends in sonography technologies and practices. Collaboration with the academic team to refine course materials and support student success will be a key part of the role.
Qualifications
Proficiency in performing and interpreting gastrointestinal ultrasound procedures
Experience in instructional design, pedagogical methods, and student engagement
Strong communication and presentation skills for effective teaching
Certified and licensed in Diagnostic Medical Sonography with additional credentials in vascular technology or POCUS preferred
Commitment to maintaining knowledge of the latest advancements in ultrasound practices and technologies
Prior teaching or mentoring experience in a medical or educational setting is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Sonography, Radiologic Sciences, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous
