The MCCNAD is home of the NIH-funded Northwestern Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, which has an Imaging Core that the faculty member will lead and computing resources that include the NU/FSM high performance cluster (Quest, ~63,000 cores, 68 GPUs, and 8Pb of storage) and a local NeuroCluster that has 320 cores and 4 GPUs. Responsibilities include conducting their independent research program and attaining independent research funding. The candidate will be the Core Leader for the ADRC Imaging Core at Northwestern University and lead the Imaging Core team to meet and accomplish the aims of the ADRC P30. As Imaging Core Leader for the P30, they will be responsible for leading a team that supports imaging needs of the research projects at the MCCNAD. Qualified candidates will possess a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree and have an established record of research productivity and independent grant funding in neuroimaging related to aging and/or dementia.
