Job Overview The Adjunct Faculty Member plays a vital role in advancing the mission and growth of the Sanctuary Institute. We are seeking dynamic professionals with experience in workshop facilitation and expertise in trauma responsive practice, organizational change, trauma treatment, leadership coaching, and/or the Sanctuary Model. This position involves both project management and the delivery of training and consultation services to organizations across the country and beyond. While travel is a significant component of this role, candidates must also be comfortable providing services virtually and using digital systems for record keeping, scheduling, and communication. Essential Duties Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Deliver Trauma-Informed Services: Design and facilitate engaging workshops and provide consultation that reflects the core principles of trauma-informed care. Support Organizational Change: Guide client organizations through various stages of change, which may include implementation of the Sanctuary Model, from initial readiness to long-term sustainability. Create Resources: Develop written materials such as reports, curricula, and tools that are accessible, thoughtful, and grounded in trauma-informed values. Engage Clients and the Network: Cultivate meaningful relationships with partner organizations, potential clients, and Sanctuary Network members. Attend and present at annual Network Days Conference. Collaborate: Participate in internal team meetings, supervision, and contract reviews to support learning and cohesion. Work collaboratively with team and integrate feedback. Manage Projects and Technology: Use project management tools and virtual platforms to stay organized, deliver hybrid services, meet deadlines, and maintain clear communication. Contribute to Institute Growth: Present at conferences, lead webinars, facilitate internal and external events, and collaborate on new initiatives. Embrace Growth and Change: Take on additional projects or responsibilities as assigned by the Associate Vice President of Business Operations or the Director of Training and Development, supporting the evolving needs of the team and mission. Please note the hourly $80 rate of pay reflected is for client focused work. For administrative work and in house meetings the hourly rate is $30 per hour. Essential Qualifications Key qualifications include: Graduate degree required; PhD/LCSW/LMHC/LMFT/M.Ed., or equivalent preferred Minimum two years of experience in trauma-informed services or within a Sanctuary organization.
