Adjunct Faculty Liberal Arts Department The Cleveland Institute of Art seeks qualified applicants for Adjunct Faculty positions in Liberal Arts to teach the course AH 150 Critical Issues in Visual Culture. This reading- and discussion-based course introduces first-year students to critical theories and methods of analysis for interpreting modern and contemporary art, media, and culture. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in fields including art history, media studies, comparative literature, architecture, design and design history, literary studies, communications, and other fields that foreground relevant critical theory.
Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience. Adjunct faculty are not eligible for benefits. Adjunct faculty are limited to a maximum of four teaching assignments per academic year. In-person teaching is required for this course.
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest summarizing qualifications, CV, and a list of 3 references.

We seek highly motivated applicants who utilize innovative and cutting-edge approaches to investigate fundamental mechanisms of neural development, regeneration, circuit plasticity, systems function, and neural computation in vertebrate nervous systems and how perturbation of these mechanisms contributes to neurodevelopmental, neurodegenerative, and/or psychiatric diseases. The new investigator will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with a diverse group of individuals in basic science and clinical departments within the School of Medicine, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Cleveland Clinic, Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, and MetroHealth Medical Center. The School of Medicine has committed resources for major expansion of the Neurosciences including hiring of tenure track research focused faculty at the rank of assistant or associate professor. To accomplish this objective, the Department of Neurosciences will initiate a nationwide search during FY2026 with the expectation of recruiting new faculty for FY2027.
In the initial year, the new assistant professor faculty member's responsibility will be to equip the new independent investigator lab, hire staff, recruit trainees, write and submit new principal investigator grant proposals, and begin pursuing research objectives. The development of the assistant professor faculty member's role will include, beginning in year 2 or 3, teaching in graduate level coursework and/or in the Case Western Reserve Medical School curriculum. During the pretenure years, the faculty member will analyze new findings and assemble the findings into manuscripts for publication. The assistant professor will begin to pursue activities at the national and international levels such as journal article refereeing, national and private foundation grant review, and invited seminar presentations at other institutions. Locally, the faculty member will begin to contribute service in years 3 and beyond by participating on departmental, medical school and/or university committees. Faculty recruited at the associate level will begin teaching in years 1 or 2. These faculty will continue their research programs, continue pursuit of grant funding, and develop new collaborations with existing CWRU faculty. Associate level faculty will expand their existing national and international research and service activities and take on leadership roles in departmental activities and committees.
Applicants seeking an Assistant Professor appointment should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, a productive postdoctoral experience, and a strong record of scholarly activity. Instructors provide quality instruction for student learning and maintain a positive learning environment in the class. The major emphasis for instructors is on teaching and evaluating students in the course. Classes are taught in a variety of formats and at several different locations, as well as online. Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate laboratory equipment such as autoclave, sterilizing oven, dishwasher, balances, filtration appliances, pH meters, timers, vortex mixers, etc.
Clean, sterilize, and store laboratory equipment.
Maintain appropriate office hours, and secure approval for any commitments which might affect employment.
Comply with Cleveland State Community College and Tennessee Board of Regents Guidelines and Policies.
Participate in periodic evaluations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a related Science field required.
Ability to use personal computers for word processing/ inventories/ OCR, etc., required.
Required to meet those standards now required or which in the future may be required by
the Tennessee Board of Regents and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).

Cleveland State University's College of Health (COH) and the School of Nursing invite applications for for 3 full-time tenure track faculty positions; two at the rank of Assistant Professor and one at the rank of Associate Professor. Positions will begin on January 5, 2026. All positions are on a a 9-month academic year contract with the possibility of a supplemental summer contract.
The School of Nursing at CSU is rapidly growing, with approximately 975 students enrolled across our undergraduate and graduate programs. The School educates a diverse student body from various geographic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds and values community engagement.
We seek doctoral-prepared nurses whose research expands nursing science in areas such as chronic disease management, maternal-child health, health services research and informatics. Candidates with teaching expertise in medical-surgical nursing, women & children's health or those who have active certification as an APRN as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner are especially encouraged to apply.
Duties include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels (online and in-person), engaging in scholarly research and collaboration and participating in school, university and community service. These positions are on-campus.
The School of Nursing is housed in the College of Health along with the departments of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD). Health Sciences & Human Performance, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and the School of Social Work. Minimum Qualifications
* PhD in nursing or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution (MSN required if PhD is in a related discipline). Appropriate terminal degree must be completed by January 1, 2026. Persons who are ABD will be hired at the rank of Instructor;
* Active, unencumbered RN license; and
* Demonstrated scholarly achievement and teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
* 2 years teaching experience in a postsecondary setting, especially online;
* Evidence of research, including a record of presentations, publications and successful grant activity;
* Familiarity with curriculum development, technology integration or accreditation/regulatory standards;

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited institution in a qualifying field or Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution in a qualifying field along with demonstrated competencies in the field (see below).

Qualifying Fields include Engineering/Engineering Technologies, Electrical/Electronics/Industrial/Mechanical or other closely related field.

Job Description:
May teach a full range of mathematics courses from developmental mathematics to statistics, calculus and differential equations.
* Prepares and delivers learning activities in order to achieve course outcomes
* Prepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments and handouts
* Evaluates and grades students' class work, laboratory work, assignments, papers, and examinations
* Maintains and submits student attendance records, grades and other required documentation by specified deadlines
* Be available to students for coaching
* Periodic meetings with supervisors, division, or College, relative to teaching duties and training and development
Required Qualifications:
* To teach the full range of mathematics courses from developmental to college level mathematics: Master's degree or higher in Mathematics or Statistics; or master's degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in mathematics from a mathematics or statistics department.
* To teach developmental mathematics courses only: Master's degree in related field with at least 6 graduate semester hours in mathematics or statistics and/or 9 undergraduate semester hours in mathematics or statistics above the calculus sequence.
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent)
* Advanced communication (verbal, written and interpersonal) and organizational skills
* Appropriately responds to the needs of the community

Adjunct Faculty - Digital Arts

The Department of Visual Art, Division of Arts and Humanities at Lorain County Community College is looking for adjunct instructors to teach a variety of introductory Digital Arts courses, including Digital Imaging, Digital Illustration, Computer Programming for Artists, 2D Animation, and 3d Modeling and 3D Animation. Instructors will teach digital arts fundamentals to students in animation, photography, graphic design and game design in our recently updated Mac Lab using the Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk Maya, Processing p5.js, Unity and other industry standard software. Our lab is located in the PC Campana Center for Ideation and Invention, where students and faculty have open access to large format printers, laser cutters, audio recording, a virtual reality CAVE, a variety of VR/AR headsets, 3D printing, and our SuperFab Lab.
Qualifications include Masters in the discipline or a Masters and 18+ credit hours, MFA preferred, teaching experience or demonstrated training experience, proficiency in the appropriate software, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
