Second-Year Composition (GLE230) is designed for second-semester, second-year students . Emphasizing skills and techniques developed in GLE110, students will also learn discipline specific conventions and refine proofreading skills. Most sections have a concentration in Business and Professional Writing, Liberal Arts, or Science Writing. Additionally, students will develop basic presentation skills. Addresses Learning Outcomes Written Communication and Oral Communication.

Watercolor, acrylic painting and/or drawing instructor wanted to teach art classes at the Michaels store in Nashua!
This is a part-time, permanent position. This is a great opportunity for an artist who would like to be able to offer classes, but does not have their own studio space to do so.
We are looking for instructors who:
-have the ability to paint and/or draw realistically
-have the ability
to teach
realistic, acrylic painting, watercolor and/or drawing classes
-have the willingness to market their classes and build their own student base
Compensation:
FREE Basics: MAKE A Project Classes:
Scheduled
up to one time per month
Hourly rate plus $3 per student
Advanced Classes
: Acrylic Painting, Watercolor and Drawing Classes:
Hourly rate plus $7 per student for 6 students in attendance or less
Hourly rate plus $10 per student for 7 students in attendance or more
*All schedules to be determined between instructor and Michaels store management.
Duration:
Classes are two hours in length.
The goal of each class is for students to leave with a finished painting or drawing.
Certification:
All Grumbacher art instructors who teach classes at Michaels must become certified through Grumbacher.

The CTS Instructor-I is a hands-on position that requires the candidate to effectively and consistently deliver the highest quality classroom instruction to a wide variety of students including developmental air traffic controllers and Certified Professional Controllers (CPC).
The successful candidate for this position must demonstrate strong technical skills with current ATC systems and procedures. This position may provide mentoring for students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO) and may participate in curriculum design and development. The selected candidate must demonstrate the knowledge and skills applicable for obtaining classroom instruction certifications at FAA air traffic control facilities within the U.S. National Airspace System.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for ensuring that air traffic control specialists provide the flying public with a high level of safety and professionalism. A well-trained Air Traffic Control (ATC) workforce plays an essential role in fulfilling this responsibility. The FAA employs more than 14,000 air traffic controllers. They work in air traffic facilities of varying sizes, safely separating more than 50,000 aircraft in the National Airspace System (NAS) each day.
To provide such air traffic services, the FAA trains new air traffic control specialists and provides recurrent training to current air traffic control specialists. The FAA utilizes Contractor-provided instructional services at FAA ATC facilities throughout the U.S. and its Territories to ensure these training needs are met. The scope of the contractor-provided services includes all training and training program support to successfully train and prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers. PenBay must provide training and training related support services as required for all types and levels of ATC facilities.

Position Summary:
The Adjunct Instructor I can provide high level instruction to armed professionals and responsible citizens. Adjunct Instructor I will teach basic, intermediate, advanced level courses and/or instructor level courses based upon previous experience or qualifications.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This position requires instructor level experience and possess competent firearms skills.
Provide expert instruction of designated courses with specific focus on specialty courses as assigned using currently approved lesson plans.
Meet established course objectives and timelines on assigned training courses and support events.
Provide an optimal training environment in the classroom and on the range, utilizing SIG SAUER Academy instructional methods, practices, and procedures.
Represent SIG SAUER during events, conferences, trade shows, commercial sales events and other interactions with the public.
Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally up to two (2) weeks per month.
Education/Experience & Skills:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 years of instructor level experience in providing training in safe handling, manipulation, and implementation of firearms. Law enforcement or military instructor level experience preferred.
Expert knowledge of weapons and tactics and the proper handling and use of a wide variety of firearms including handguns, rifles, shotguns and automatic weapons. Prior Armorer experience is a plus.
Expert knowledge of firearms safety practices and procedures in any environment.
Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form. Expert presentation skills and the ability to speak in a public setting.

Working Conditions:
