Qualifications Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, preferably from a COAMFTE accredited institution. Licensed to practice Marriage and Family Therapy with the intention of obtaining a NYS license. Clinical Membership in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists ( AAMFT ). Approved supervisor status, preferred. Evidence of teaching experience (co-teaching and doctoral teaching internships are acceptable). Evidence of experience as a counseling practitioner in mental health settings (doctoral internships are acceptable). Notable achievement of publications and professional presentations and a readiness to develop research and training grant proposals.
