The Department of Planning, Public Policy and Management (PPPM) offers 3 master's programs, including Community and Regional Planning, Nonprofit Management, and Public Administration. The Community and Regional Planning program awards a MCRP and is accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board. The Public Administration program awards an MPA and is accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). Adjunct Professor Biochemistry The Biology Department of Linfield University is searching for an adjunct Professor to teach a Biochemistry course and associated lab in the Spring of 2025. The course is designed for upper division Biology and Biochemistry majors. The class would run from February 9th through May 29th, with 150 minutes of lecture a week and a three-hour lab each week. There is significant staff support for the lab portion of the course, and lab content is flexible in terms of instructor background. The days that lecture and lab are offered are flexible and can be worked out with the chair of biology. A Ph.D. in biology or a related field is desirable, but candidates who are ABD will be considered.

Instructor is responsible for the planning and implementation of various Science (biology, microbiology, anatomy, and physiology) courses. Instructor will maintain college standards in all aspects of professionalism, record keeping and instruction within the team atmosphere of the science department of Rogue Community College.
Supervision Received
The dean, in consultation with the department chair is responsible for carrying out the evaluation of instructors under procedures developed by the vice president. The dean confers with the department chair in decisions regarding instructor workload, professional growth, retention, and department staffing levels.

Experience: Experience teaching at a high school or college level is desirable but not required.
Knowledge of: Sufficient knowledge of the subject area taught; computer applications for communication and learning, including, but not limited to, word processing, the Internet, multi-media presentations, and spreadsheets; curriculum development; the community colleges' mission, role in higher education, and student population; and sensitivity to a diverse student body and its needs.
Ability to: Communicate effectively and respectfully with diverse students, staff, and community members; demonstrate experience or potential for innovation and creativity in both the classroom and related educational duties, including the use of new technologies such as online instruction; demonstrate a commitment to professional standards and growth. Pass a criminal background check.
Licenses: If required to drive on behalf of the college, must possess a valid Oregon Driver License and provide proof of an acceptable driving record.
Physical Demands: Manual dexterity and coordination are required for more than half of the daily work period (about 60%) which is spent in a classroom operating office equipment such as computers, keyboards, telephones, and other standard office equipment or in a lab environment using standard science equipment and tools. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, twist, crouch, climb, balance, see, talk, hear, and manipulate objects. LOCATION: Corban University's 220+ acre campus is situated on a hillside forest setting overlooking the Willamette Valley, just minutes from the heart of Salem, Oregon's capital city. The rugged coast awaits only an hour's drive to the west. To the east is the mountainous Cascade Range. Portland, the state's largest city, is less than an hour away and is home to cultural museums, parks, shopping, and restaurants. Adjuncts may be hired to teach on campus or remote, depending on the needs of the department at that time.
SUMMARY: This pool accepts applications for potential openings for part-time instructors (Adjuncts) that may arise throughout the year and is not a guarantee of an open position. Adjuncts may be hired in a variety of departments/schools, including:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Develop course schedules and syllabi.
Identify and meet the learning needs of students.
Perform biblical integration in line with Corban's Statement of Faith.
Develop and administer formative and summative assessment instruments for students' progress and competence.
Work closely and maintain consistent communication with the department chair to insure instructional alignment with School of Ministry outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in related field for undergraduate teaching.
Doctoral degree is required to teach graduate level courses.
Candidate should value an environment that reflects the diversity of God's kingdom, engages in global concerns and connects culturally.
Candidate must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and evidence a mature Christian faith, be in agreement with the University's Statement of Faith, and be committed to the integration of biblical principles throughout the teaching process.

Job Summary
The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science invites applications for a full-time (1.00 FTE ), 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor, or tenured Associate or Full Professor position.
Appointment at the Assistant Professor rank is anticipated; however, appointment at a promoted rank may be considered depending upon the qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position will strengthen and support the university's vision of leading world-class team-based, interdisciplinary research and education in ocean, earth and climate science; and technologies for bettering the quality of human life. The appointment is anticipated to be at the rank of Assistant Professor, but rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor many be considered upon appointment to the faculty. Rank will be determined commensurate with qualifications.
The incumbent will demonstrate capability for building a robust research program that complements existing expertise in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science ( EECS ), especially with connections to AI, and enhances the scope for collaborative and multidisciplinary projects with the Collaborative Robotics and Intelligent Systems Institute; the College of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences; the Hatfield Marine Science Center and the Oregon Health and Science University among other organizations. The position incumbent will also demonstrate a passion for and excellence in teaching and mentoring, with a strong commitment to promoting inclusion and equity for learners from diverse groups. The position will teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in electrical and computer engineering in different modalities as required. Additionally, the position is expected to perform duties related to service to the university and their professional field.
The position incumbent will have expertise/specialization in Integrated Electronics.
Integrated Electronics is open to areas of analog, RF, digital, and mixed-signal integrated circuit design with applications in machine learning as well as AI-assisted design of analog/RF circuits. The design of accelerators for machine-learning applications, energy-efficient circuits for AI computing, and innovative approaches to accelerate and automate analog/RF design are of particular interest.

Physical Demands/Working Environment:
Work safely in classroom and laboratory settings; may be exposed to hazardous conditions. This position works indoors and is exposed to usual office working conditions that include office noises and interruptions, such as printers, telephones, and visitors. This position requires that an employee be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time; perform computer work in the form of word processing, data entry, spreadsheet work, and web-based research for more than six (6) hours a day. Work involves concentrated mental and visual attention for sustained periods of time. Work may require transporting materials up to twenty-five (25) pounds.

This is an adjunct faculty pool for teaching part-time in the Business Technology department. The pool will remain open until June 2026 unless positions are no longer needed. Applications will be reviewed and candidates will be contacted and interviewed as positions become available.
Instructor is responsible for organizing and carrying out structured learning processes for students in business and economics courses. A detailed list of business courses is available at ******************************************* Administration.asp.
Supervision Received
The dean, in consultation with the department chair is responsible for carrying out the evaluation of instructors under procedures developed by the vice president. The dean confers with the department chair in decisions regarding instructor workload, professional growth, retention, and department staffing levels.
1. Instructs students in a classroom, lab, learning center, or other setting as appropriate.
2. Prepares, distributes, and utilizes instructional support materials, including course syllabi, supplementary materials, instructional media, and other devices as appropriate.
3. Develops, communicates, and utilizes a student assessment process and instruments which are related to the stated objectives of the course.
4. Participates as a team member in departmental meetings and planning activities.
5. Participates in curriculum planning and development as needed.
6. Engages in regular professional growth activity based on the objectives established in an approved professional growth plan.
7. Represents the Business Technology Department and the college to the community, business, public agencies, and other organizations in a professional manner.
8. Responsible for departmental equipment and provides for the security of facilities and instructional materials as appropriate to the department.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Accounting, or related area is required to teach technical (career education) business classes. A Master's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Accounting, or related area is required to teach transfer-level business classes.
Only degrees received from an accredited institution will be accepted: accreditation must be recognized by the office of degree authorization, US Department of Education, as required by ORS 348.609. Final candidate will be required to provide official transcripts for required degree.
Experience: A minimum of one year of documented, successful teaching experience is required. Community college teaching of business classes is preferred. Related occupational experience and/or professional licensure are a plus.
Knowledge of: Contemporary knowledge of any of the following business subjects: accounting, payroll, business communications, technical report writing, marketing, management, supervision, business law, human relations, business ethics, business math, retailing, customer service, business statistics, computer accounting applications (QuickBooks), and Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); Computer applications for communication and learning, including, but not limited to, word processing, the Internet, multi-media presentations, spreadsheets and database management; curriculum development; the community colleges' mission, role in higher education, and student population; and sensitivity to a diverse student body and its needs.
Ability to: Communicate effectively and respectfully with diverse students and staff; demonstrate experience or potential for innovation and creativity in the classroom; demonstrate a commitment to professional standards and growth; incorporate current technology into instruction; demonstrate excitement and enthusiasm in teaching business classes; adapt to a variety of teaching situations, including lectures, group activities, individual instruction, and distance learning; work and interact effectively with staff, students, administrators and others of various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
