GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: In this full-time, tenure-track position, in the Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) Program based in Plymouth, MA, the Faculty Member will teach courses from the Department's rigorous aviation curriculum and provide lecture and laboratory instruction in aviation technical subjects. Successful candidates will leverage advanced aviation technologies, and aviation simulation, to teach a diverse student population. Students are enrolled in the Aviation Maintenance Technician (General, Airframe and Powerplant), Associate of Applied Science Degree. This position is for the Spring, 2026 semester.

* Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and consistently integrate industry-standard safety practices into all aspects of instruction, hands-on training, and student engagement.
* Be prepared to lecture and teach in a professional academic environment, including classroom and labs.

* Participate actively in College, Department, and Division service work, including faculty meetings, college ceremonies, and service on academic committees.
* Participate in College, Departmental, and Divisional assessment activities.
* Act as an ambassador for Cape Cod Community College and the Aviation Maintenance Technology Program at Plymouth Municipal Airport.
* Maintain professional certifications and pursue advanced academic credentialing.
* Update, and revise courses to meet high student learning outcomes that meet, FAA, and NECHE accreditation standards.
* Create and utilize innovative and creative instructional materials for aviation coursework.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in aviation or a closely related field from an accredited institution or equivalent qualifications as determined by the appointing authority.
* Airframe & Powerplant Certification.
* Three years of relevant work experience in an aviation capacity.
* Demonstrated presentation skills in the classroom including integration of computer-based aviation software program(s).
* Commitment to the mission of Cape Cod Community College and the (AMT) Aviation Training Center in Plymouth, MA.
* Strong pedagogy and an ability to relate to the current needs of students.
* Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information:

We are seeking one or more adjunct instructors who can teach a variety of communications and sports broadcasting courses on topics including sports information, sports and entertainment media, media theory and more to teach one or two 3-credit courses that meet either in-person or synchronously online for 2.5 hours/week. The adjunct pay rate is $3,300/section. Adjunct faculty are expected to hold one office hour each week for each section they teach. The Communications program provides a course charter with course objectives as well as sample syllabi. All faculty are expected to make active use of the learning management system (Canvas) at least at a minimum level established by the College.

The Theology and Religious Studies department is looking for adjunct faculty to teach one section of the following Spring 2026 Courses:
THRS 2105: Judaism
This course offers an introduction to Judaism and surveys its history. It examines scripture, beliefs, ritual, ethics, intellectual life and the roles of women.
This course meets M/W 4:15-5:30PM.
THRS 2130: Catholic Social Teaching
This course will provide an introduction to over 100 years of Catholic social teaching, using papal encyclicals and pastoral letters from the U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops primarily. Analysis of the documents and critiques of the teachings will also be used. Each of the documents will be grounded in its sociological, political, economic and religious context. A service-learning component will be included in the course introducing students to service to people in poverty in the Boston area. The mission of national and international Catholic social justice organizations will also be highlighted.
