Job Summary Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Clinical Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education in the Department of Elementary & Early Childhood Education with a preferred start date of August 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia. Responsibilities * Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in mathematics content (rational numbers, whole number and operations, proportional reasoning, data, statistics, probability, geometry and measurement) and pedagogy (K-2 and 3-5). * Supervise teacher candidates during their Yearlong Clinical Experience. * Establish and maintain relationships with local school partners in support of our teacher candidates. * Collaborate with colleagues in service to the department, College and University on committees and program work. * Collect and score required key assessment data for accreditation purposes. * Attend required department and program meetings. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. Required Qualifications * An earned terminal/doctoral degree, or the foreign equivalent, in mathematics education or Curriculum and Instruction, or other related field with a focus on mathematics education and at least 18 graduate credits in mathematics is required by the start date. * A minimum of 3 years experience as a lead teacher in an early childhood, elementary, or middle grades setting.
