Essential Duties The successful applicant will teach courses in the college's undergraduate BS in Accounting and Masters in Accounting program. The applicant must maintain active and productive research in the expanding field of Accounting, broadly defined, and engage in appropriate professional and service activities. Evidence of scholarship in Accounting Information Systems is especially welcome. Minimum Qualifications Candidates who possess a Ph.D. degree in Accounting are invited to apply. Although ABDs who are close to completing their degree requirements will be considered, preference will be given to candidates who have completed their doctorate, especially those with an established record of high-quality published research and work-in-progress aimed at leading academic journals, in addition to high-quality effective teaching skills. This position is actively involved in patient care and teaching medical students and residents at College ambulatory clinics, as well as the hospital inpatient service. Appropriate effort and activity in clinical research and service will also be necessary as well as a clinical record of sufficient depth to qualify for faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
