Compensation:
Assistant Professor: $75,000 - $85,000

Qualifications
Required: Terminal degree (Ph.D.). ABD or candidates with significant professional experience and credentials will be considered.
Minimum: Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
Minimum two years of teaching experience in higher education or equivalent instructional experience in professional training OR minimum two years of industry experience in analytics, data science, or applied statistics.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a commitment to fostering inclusive, engaged learning environments.
Technical proficiency: R and/or Python required; SQL experience strongly preferred.
Evidence of applied expertise in one or more areas such as business analytics, predictive modeling, data visualization, or AI applications is a plus.
Additional Qualifications for the Associate Professor Rank:
Current appointment at the Associate Professor level or equivalent academic rank.
Minimum of five (5) years of full-time teaching experience at a four-year College or University.
Proven record of teaching and scholarly excellence.

ChristianaCare offers a fully accredited General Practice Dentistry residency program (eight trainees per year), which is at the forefront of the specialty in education, implantology, special needs and hospital-based care. Further, it is unique because it has a very robust dental implant prosthetic program, as well as all areas of restorative and specialty dentistry. In addition, the residents work closely with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program. Our dental residents consult in many areas of the hospital including oncology, cardiology, orthopedics and nephrology as well as treating medically and cognitively compromised patients in the clinic. The Program has a didactic program which complements the residents' clinical exposure. Also, there are more than seventy volunteer attending dentists on staff who teach and help in the clinic, as well as lending didactic support and expertise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Have the flexibility to work afternoons or evenings from either 3:15pm to 5:15pm or 5pm to 7:45pm depending on the program
Instructs in-school, out-of-school youths, and/or adults in academic content areas to meet Delaware High School graduation requirements or instruct ESL/ABE students to gain level improvements
Provide the appropriate educational opportunities and instruction for each student, according to his/her needs and abilities and specific enrollment program
If needed, prepare in advance appropriate lesson plan which match district and state curriculum expectations
Keep accurate records, tests, reports, etc. as required by Delaware Statutes and policies, Federal Regulations, and School Board Policy to demonstrate student performance
Establish and maintain good rapport and communication with students, school personnel, administrators, and parents
Establishes and maintains an equitable classroom atmosphere conducive to teaching and learning and plans and uses classroom time effectively
Uphold school regulations as identified in teacher and student handbook and supported by board policy
Works closely with counselors and staff to support students on pathway to graduation
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the administration
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
For new teachers, to be eligible for an interview, all applicants must be eligible for Delaware licensure and have passing Praxis I or CORE scores and Praxis II scores for the position for which you are applying.
Below are the qualifications for this position:
Must be eligible for State of Delaware Certification as a Secondary English, mathematics, social studies, science OR Spanish teacher or Adult Education certification in ABE/ESL level(s).
State of DE Paraeducator or Secondary Teacher Certification Required
Special Education Experience preferred.
Knowledge of Delaware State Content Standards, Assessment & Accountability.
Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.

DDA currently has a limited number of driving instructor positions available. Ideal candidates are those who enjoy helping people, especially young people, and believe they have what it takes to become that next great driving instructor, or "DDA Coach." Of course, teaching, coaching, instructing, law enforcement, truck driving, license testing, CDL, fleet, or driving instructor experience of any kind is great, but only a great personality and strong desire to mentor young drivers is required.

DRIVING INSTRUCTOR - This position requires the ability to communicate, correct and connect. We provide fully insured driving school cars with dual braking and gas. Part-time instructors can create their own schedule, or choose to earn a higher rate by allowing us to schedule their hours. The demand for DDA instruction is very high, and we're always booked out 3-4 weeks, so driving instructors can increase their hours at any time. Exceptional instructors will ultimately be eligible to advance into other administrative positions, become supervisors, license testers, or management as our company continues to grow and expand.

This is the first of a two-course sequence in anatomy and physiology. It is intended to provide a strong background in human anatomy and physiology for students in the STEM and Allied Health majors. Dissection is required as a part of this course.
Education and/or Experience:
Required
* Master's Degree or higher in Biology or a related discipline
* Previous experience teaching Anatomy and Physiology, with a lab component
Preferred
* Minimum of one year teaching experience
Special Conditions
* PA residency required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide primary instruction and lab skills training, using the approved course curriculum and lab equipment.
* Monitor student progress, provide individualized student feedback, remedial support, and referrals as appropriate.
* Maintain all student records by entering student grades and withdrawals promptly, and upon completion of the course, provide students with the final course grade and evaluation.
* Maintain a safe environment for students in the lab and demonstrate compliance with procedures and protocols for lab cleanliness and standards.
* Adhere to procedures and policies and maintain good communications and working relationships with faculty, staff, and lab assistants.
* Participate in teacher meetings and professional development activities as required.
Other Skills and Abilities:
* Excellent organizational skills required.
* Experience with curriculum development.
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to establish positive relationships with students, faculty, and staff.
