Basic Qualifications Candidates at the entry level must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. degree or have completed all but dissertation in accounting or a related field at the time of appointment and show strong potential to publish research in top-tier journals. Candidates at the advanced assistant, associate, or full professor level must have a Ph.D. in accounting or a related field and have a record of high-quality publications and demonstrated teaching excellence.
