Duties
The College of Arts and Sciences (COAS) at Athens State University invites applications for Open Rank Psychology Faculty (tenure eligible). The position requires teaching effectiveness, scholarship, institutional service, professional and community service. During the 9-month contract of employment, faculty members are expected to be available to assist and work with students and respond to unit, departmental, college, and institutional needs.
In addition to the duties listed below, faculty members must adhere to the general faculty guidelines as specified by the Employee Handbook, and perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and the Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs.
DUTIES:
* Teaching a variety of upper-division Psychology courses in various formats including quality distance learning courses;
* Working with a range of students to assist them in reaching goals and learning outcomes;
* Professional development and/or scholarship appropriate for a teaching institution to maintain currency in disciplinary field(s);
* Maintaining office hours and advising students;
* Serving on committees and assessment efforts as needed;
* Assuming any other professional duties and responsibilities as assigned by administrative personnel.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
* An earned Ph.D.in Psychology from a regionally accredited institution
* Experience teaching at the baccalaureate level or higher.
* The ideal candidate will be qualified to teach a variety of courses that may include Abnormal Psychology, Personality, Tests and Measurements, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Education Psychology, Psychology Law, and Forensic Psychology.
QULAIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
The ideal candidate should also have experience and be ready to work with student research, directed study, and related student activities.

The major responsibilities of this position are to teach and provide service in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, to teach pre-clinical didactic courses in dermatology to veterinary students, to actively participate in the training of dermatology and non-dermatology house officers, and to develop a research program, which can be independent or collaborative.
Proportionate assignments for each area are based on the interests of the candidate, faculty assignment, and the missions of the dermatology program and Department.
The successful candidate will join a dermatology service with two full-time faculty members, two full-time dedicated technicians, and three residents.
The dermatology service currently maintains a diverse caseload with ongoing clinical research projects and opportunities for teaching students and house officers.
Complete on-site clinical, diagnostic, and pathology facilities permit diagnostics and treatment of dermatology patients of different species including companion, exotic, farm animals, and horses.
The dermatology service has STORZ HD video-otoscopy unit with Vet Pump.
Holmium:YAG and diode lasers are available within the hospital for procedures as needed.
The Department of Small Animal Medicine and Surgery comprises approximately 50 faculty members, 51 clinical residents, ten rotating interns, seven specialty interns, and three administrative staff members.
Shared laboratory space and technical support are provided within the Department, and there are six dedicated research technicians who assist in the research missions of the Department's faculty.
Other specialties within the Department include anesthesia, emergency/critical care, internal medicine, neurology, nutrition, medical and radiation oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, radiology, and zoological medicine, as well as a community practice program (UGA Pet Health Center).

The City of Huntsville Parks and Recreation Department has two public indoor swimming facilities. All City of Huntsville swimming facilities have certified lifeguards.
Aquatic Instructor Position Overview:
This is specialized recreation work and limited supervisory work in conducting swimming classes and lessons and supervising public swimming activities. Work involves responsibility for teaching and conducting a variety of swimming classes and lessons and for supervising regular swimming activities. Work also involves responsibility for assisting in the operation and maintenance of the pool and equipment.
Qualifications and Necessary Special Requirements:
Proof of enrollment or High school diploma from a school accredited by a regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or GED certificate issued by the appropriate state agency and some experience as a qualified lifeguard and instructor at a large public swimming pool or aquatic facility.

The New Equipment Training (NET) Instructors provide U.S. Army units and allied customers the training necessary to operate the AH64D/E and related mission and weapon systems. The Maintainer Team is the primary provider of initial training for the AH64. The team is also the main developer of training, training material and training devices and/or provides oversight of said development. Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide training, training development, subject matter expertise, logistical support, and management of AH64D/E training requirements.
Conduct academic lecture, guided discussions, instructor lead practical exercises, and simulation training in all aspects of the AH64D and/ AH64E, to include aircraft, weapon, and mission systems.
Develop academic training or provide subject matter expertise in the development of training and training devices by the AH64E OEM or third-party vendors.
Prepare, coordinate the logistical movement of training devices, manage schedules, and conduct training IAW applicable Program of Instructions, Training Support Plans, Course Management Plans, Course Syllabuses and or within other official guidance with little to no supervision.

Minimum Experience:

A high level of AH-64E Version 4/6 system/subsystem knowledge is desired, as well the ability to research information in technical manuals and/or engineering documentation.

Required Education and Skills:
